Honestly i thought of myself having common sense, just to realize after watching this video i was trying it wrong, almost break a small part, i thank you for helping others and me, in this world of ours we all need from each other, Lord Bless you!
Acura TL 2008. Little different set up, had to take battery out plus some other parts but did it. Took me little over an hour. This is bs how they design cars nowadays. Should be 2 min top. Thanks for a video!
Thank for the helpful video and thank for the Amazon link. Save so much times for replacing and Amazon ordering. I have no idea what to buy without your link
Hello! I have a 2008 Acura Tsx that i bought recently with 170k miles. When i bought it, it had been damaged on the front end. The passenger side headlight enclosure had been smashed and there it was not sealed. A few months go by and the light goes out. I take it to a mechanic and they tell me that my ballast is visibly damaged and needs to be replaced. So i Do i head to the store and shell out too much money for a metal box. I get the ballast replaced and the mechanic tells me I need to replace the enclosure or else water will get in the ballast and be kaput. So i do i order a headlight enclosure from off the internet that very day. Before the enclosure arrives the light had gone out already. It worked for maybe 3 days. (it had been raining) ok so majorly bummed i head back and they replace the enclosure and what nots and tell me my ballast had water in it and that i needed another one. OK! dammit this sucks but only 1 more visit. I get another ballast and head on back and have it replaced. Yippee the light works. One week later, the light goes out again. It has been raining but how could the ballast have water in it? The enclosure is brand new. I open it up and see the ground wire on the igniter has not been attached to anything and the bulb is visibly blown. I replaced the bulb but still doesnt work. Should it have been grounded? Is my ballast out again? Could it be another component? How can I check? Is it legal to tape a flashlight to the front of your car? Sorry for long story thank you for reading
Yeah so I just did this on a 05 Acura RL and you can't access the bulbs like this. Absolutely insane... Lucky my mother in law asked me to change them cause never again. This video here seems like you have access to the bulbs and that's so nice.
Nah not really... I changed mines without taking the number off. It was a PITA frfr. Had my arm in all kinda angles.. so did replacing my throttle cable housing!!! I
This was amazing. Thank you for going out of your way to get the angles to show EXACTLY how to do it

I m not sure what caused the problem. There maybe a short circuit in your head light system. You may want to find a professional to check it.
how come when i took it out, i bought the same bulbs as you, but mine was a different connector like 4770 bulb
Bulb is D2S. What is 4770 bulb?
Never mind what I took out was the turning signal 😭 it’s stuck in the thing now but I did change my bulbs!

title of video says TSX,TL, MDX … 🤦🏻♂️
@@MotivationaloverMasterpiecethe TL doesn’t have easy access either so this video is not accurate
What does the blue thing attach to?
Because mine aren’t connected lol
The cap locks in when you turn it, why is there a need for a screw?
He said it's a stupid screw.....🤔
Labor hours
@@MrShomari1 Why use the screw even? Take it out leave it.
@@ChristianLikesFootball y u didn't tell me when I took it. It has now been over 2years.
I now will blame it all on u.. but I'm sure u know I'm JK 😂
@@MrShomari1 lol i didn't have the car back then.
Is the other side as easy?
No
@@joehowto Did you disconnected the car battery for safety?
@@adamt5525 I didn't disconnect the battery for my car. I think I should disconnect the battery first before replacing the light bulb
How you liking the DMEX bulbs?
Still working and it is bright
@@joehowto think I’ll pull the trigger on these then. Not paying $150+ for osrams lol.
The same exact thing I'm going through right now
Hope everything works out
The bulbs don’t come out for some reason, I have undone the clip but the bulb doesn’t come out.
You may have to remove the headlight set so you can remove the bulb
@@joehowto I did, it was a metal tab that was bent and wasn't letting it move.
Mine looks nothing like tht
