Couple helpful things for future runs like this (comments are good for the TH-cam Algorithm): most if not all pokemon resource websites (Serebii, Bulbapedia) list the abilities in the same order the game uses: So a Glameow caught with Ability Slot 1 (Limber) evolves into a Purugly with Ability Slot 1 (Thick Fat) (which would be helpful if you are just catching multiple of a pokemon until it has a decent nature/ability, which i was glad to hear you doing for Misdreavus). Also, the Lustrous Orb (and Adamant Orb in Diamond) are just at the back of Spear Pillar after catching Palkia/Dialga. They provide the same type boosts as other type boosting items (splash plate, etc.) but for both STABs, so makes your dragon attacks stronger too

I have an idea for a fun challenge, One that means you could even use Drowzee. Can you beat Pokemon Black (Or any game from gen's 5 ,6 or 7) with only the move Assist? Purrloin learns Assist at level 6 so it'd be the starter, Then if you get a male Purrloin you can breed it with other's to get more Pokemon. I think this would be a great wacky challenge since the more Pokemon on your team the more random the move is. For any that don't know Assist uses a random move known by any of the user's party Pokémon, With some exceptions. So even Pokemon that can't use Assist would still be useful if they have good moves that Assist can use. Drowzee is in the Human-Like Egg Group so If you want one with Assist you'd need a Spinda since they're in the Field and Human-Like Egg Groups so can breed with Purrloin and Drowzee. You could also use a Chimchar as a starter if you give it Assist as an Egg Move, They're also in the Field and Human-Like Egg Groups so a male one can breed the move into any Pokemon with Assist.
@@cadencenavigator958 I tried it too, very fun. found out a useful trick is having some low level Pokemon that only know a few moves, and avoid any moves that a type or ability can be immune to. Now that I am using a CPAP for my horrible sleep apnea, and am currently not working due to my chronic migraines making working not currently feasible (meaning I am not exactly worried about any schedules), I've been far more comfortably able to settle into my body's natural schedule of about 10:30AM to 2:30AM, with only slight variations, usually only _really_ veering off of that when I have a particularly severe migraine that has me in bed the entire day, but my body is now much better at returning to that expected schedule on it's own without any outside influence now.

Stunky-> locks out glameow, Murkrow-> locks out misdreavus, Togepi-> Locks out riolu or vice versa those choices. Mix match for a team!!!
There is no i at the end of Misdreavus..
to answer the evolution question: YES! I ALWAYS mix up Pigeot and Pigeotto!! the names are too close and the designs are too similar for me
Not the same evolution line, but on my first playthrough of Scarlet, I encountered what I thought was a Voltorb because I hadn't caught one yet, and it turned out to be a shiny Tarountula >.> Would have totally missed that if I wasn't going for full Pokedex completion.
9:02 poliwhirl and poliwrath
Yes Version exclusives again those became my favorite runs 🙌
The final boss of messing Up names in Evolution lines has to be the Pawmot Line in Gen 9. Its a freaking Pika clone that just stands Up by evolving. And then the last Evolution just gets bigger. I mess them up
11:27 Mismagius? 🤔🤔🤔
Suggestion: How low a level can you beat Pokemon Red with 1 Mewtwo?
I always get Onix and Gyarados confused. I’ll go to fish and reel in what I think is an Onix and go “nope, just water Onix. . . Again.”
If I may make a late suggestion and request a Platinum “Version Exclusives” run. Just use the Pokémon that were added for the Platinum Pokédex. Houndour and Ralts, for example.
Ever since you mentioned your first name is Madrat, I've been thinking "I know his last name probably isn't 'Bread', but I still want it to be..."
MDB I just finished watching your playthrough of Black & White 2 the other day! Enjoyed it! Do you have any other playthroughs you've done like that you can recommend?
You say Shieldon a lot like you say Shellgon, so when listening along in bed I got confused a few times.
Im so eepy and only a surskit run can wake me up
Week 4 of asking for Pokémon Emerald with one Magnemite.
Taunt on the rival and first gym would have been goated btw
I can't believe you never thought to use Taunt....THE FIRST TWO GYMS!!
I would like to see Pokémon Black 2 with only Mandibuzz and Braviary. I think that would be a fun duo run.
I can't help but feel like playing one of these games modded for everything to be clefairy would be pain...but i want to see it.
Apparently it's not just a mistake between Skuntank and Stunky but Misdreavus and Mismagius as well. XD
9:04 pawmo and pawmot in Gen 9, they are almost identical
Totally should've named the Glameow 'Slim Jim'.
Timid is -Atk +Spd. That is the best nature for palkia
It's +Spe -Atk, not +Spd
@@Dragonstorm1234 Spd is speed
Spd is special defense, spe is speed @@phoenixblade8315
Could be misunderstood as special defense.
@phoenixblade8315 Spe is speed, SpD is special defence
Pokemon Emerald with one Clamperl
I really want to see gen 3 with a spoink
skyrim got a big expansion like thing called a tale of blood and snow. it have new spells and lots of story if you need an elder scroll run
