thanks for the video. did you buy the crabs at a bait shop, or did you catch them yourself? i have only caught a few while exploring coastal islands. i used a 5 gallon bucket to run up on them and scoop them in. man they did not last long fishing rocks like you were. i can not wait to try fiddler crabs again after seeing your video
Thanks for visiting the channel! But we def bought those. No way we would’ve had time or patience to catch that many lol. Def more rewarding to catch your own and then catch fish with them!💪 Good luck out there!!
I use those joghesds theu got at b@m for mangroves and flounder but for sheephead id for sure go carolina every time w a short leader or split shots at the jetties too
LOL needed to be more painful🤣 But the crabs, sometimes there are hundreds/thousands along a shoreline. But has to be low tide, right conditions, etc. We just bought these lol
I think that entire day/video, I got snagged and had to break off 3 times. But honestly, I don’t like fishing the jetties. Current most times too fast to fish comfortably. I prefer to fish vertically on bridge/dock pilings. Almost never get stuck.
Sheep head have those teeth for a reason. We will use fiddlers during the winter as sheep head move to shallow water to spawn. When the water temperature changes they are heading for deeper water. We have one spot inshore that if the current isn't good we can always go to that one spot in a creek and kill them no matter what time of the year. But as the water warms up you need to move to deeper water. And we don't use fiddlers. And we limit out within a hour or two. Will never tell the bait except it ain't no shrimp.
Fiddler ear rings 😂😂😂😂 love it
