- I just hopped back on this grind after not playing Through the Fire & Flames for 5 months and OH MY GOD what was this run. This happened after only 3 days of grinding.
I always say it on stream but this is truly my ultimate dream FC. First it was Soulless 6, and ever since I got that I've had my eyes on this.
My stamina has been steadily improving in this game for a few months and I can do full days of these runs now without getting tired.
I think it might be finally possible.

Soulless 6 and Flames 200 are going to be the most iconic FCs ever no matter what period this game is in. Unbelievable skill.
I’d honestly throw in obsidian and soulless 4 as most iconic as well. All of those are insane fcs that were once thought impossible to fc

@flamma1114 trust me soulless 4 is absolutely number 2 atleast, and in my opinion number 1. The hype was insane when that was going on and their were so many twists and turns for that grind, and ultimately the fact darkly managed to get it on explorer is nuts and was achievement probably 3-4 years ahead of it's time. Not to mention it's the 2nd most iconic song in guitar history. It was the best fc race ever, seeing randy acai and darkly duking it out was nuts, and who can forget the imagine the nerves meme. Soulless 6 on the other hand didn't really have that much up about it up until it got fced, it's kinda of a joke song and their wasn't any race to fc it or anything. It also wasn't a huge step up in difficulty for the community like s4 which was on another level. S6 was pretty comparable to other top fcs of the time like hello world, metaxs solo medley and maybe even like dungeon dweller. Not to mention jared and frif would outdue this accomplishment by a wide margine not to long afterwards with both megawub wub 125 and triathlon respectively. Soulless 6 was mostly hype because it was a soulless song fc and was considered a new top 1 fc at the time, even if that's more debatable now.
spacerace will be the most iconic among the CH community, it already seems really hard just looking at it, but you would need to be a top player to truly understand how ridiculous an fc is on it (or you could see how much top players struggle playing it)

I don't mean to play down what Jared is doing (which is obviously insane) but Tobi and others back in the day were playing GH3, not CH so it's not directly comparable.

I've been in this community since the days when S4 was the hardest FCable song around and no one had done it yet. Sure Flames 200 is an insane accomplishment, but is it Top 1 like I see people in the comments debating? As far as skill goes, no. Constellation in my mind probably isn't getting beat the rest of this year, and that's Grade 21. This is Grade 19, maybe 20 if you do some serious mental gymnastics. Definitely rooting for Jared to get the FC though, especially after I missed out on the live FC of Supernovae 110.
No, it's definitely in the same tier as Constellation.

@@melodyofthelexicon I'd revise my previous statement upon a rewatch of Constellation. Grade 19 or 20 is fair, given the number of sections you can cheese in TTFAF even at that speed.
But if i had to imagine why some might say its harder than that? I'd give blame to the tight strum and grace notes primarily. Those even on 120 are chokeable which is fair, but i think the biggest thing holding it down is the fact you can cheese most of the of the song, which you can't really do with Constellation especially its harder sections.
Furthermore, I'd go on the record to say Constellation will likely not be beaten even next year unless Carny or someone else pulls out something like a Chasing Comets FC, Hellidox or Drunken 2 playable.
Why does the anti-cheat overlay register each strum as an upstrum and downstrum at the same time? They are in perfect sync throughout the entire song.
It could might be a bug with the input viewer. But all of this is done live on stream so it's all real.
