We once entered a c walk competition at mlk park on MLK Jr day. A native and a white boy, walking it out in the hood that walked it out. We both won $50 gift cards to Applebee’s. Great memory. He brought the crowd in. In what was supposed to be hostile territory. Here is an attractive young green eyed, sharp smiled white kid, 20 or 21 at the time, and some young native decked out in dodger blue... and he lead me into us cutting it up. I have so many memories of Tommy. His rasp voice that was counter to his huge heart and soft approach to others. All the laughs, thank you Demi. I’m so glad you got to know him too. And thank you so much for your tribute to mine and so many others friend. He was truly that guy.

I knew tommy well. We went through rehab together. We went to AA/NA meetings together after treatment. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be sober today without his help. It’s hard finding fun sober things to do when all your other friends are still partying. He did it with me. I Love you Tommy

I have always felt connected to you and to your music, but that was another level.
