I still think Reliant Robins could have a future in some markets like India, Thailand and others marketed as a motorcycle, a trike.
A modern day Robin with a small AC, automatic choke, one seat at the front and an engine like the 2CV in the back would be cheap to make locally and could sell millions.

nice concept, but i don't see this working in India
First of all this would target urban states and cities, so in urban cities like delhi people take e-rikshaw for commuting between their destination and metro station which is on average a very short commute roughly 2-3 kms. That's why e-rikshaws have completely replaced conventional auto and leg driven rikshaws. Now if you wanna commute a bit more than just a short distance like going out for a movie or to a mall you'll either go erikshaw->metro/bus station->erikshaw->destination or directly via a taxi cab. So this vehicle inherently by designed is made for small commutes so, why would be anyone willing to fork out 40-50rs(10 for normal e rikshaws) for a small distance trip where it will be a shared seating and not much comfort. People will always go for the cheapest version.
@theWerk you are an exception, an exception does not determine the generality. Indian prefer saving money more than comfort.
@@kkdias9924 I think Mr. Dias you are wrong as the new upcoming Generation don't think of spending ... Now a days they want compfort & are ready to pay it for.... Moreover there are some minus points Like they shud have involved detachable batteries so that they can commute Long distance also... & few other points

The door is engineered poorly. It is placed in a slightly tilted position making it close itself on the egressing passenger, which can pose risks towards children and elderly passengers. Hope the engineering team rectifies the same soon.✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
