- Eight of Swords Upright: Feeling fenced in. Paranoia, oppression, restriction. Too many ideas with no clear direction. Feeling completely stymied, stuck, twisted and tangled up. Isolation, trapped by feelings of helplessness, especially if this is learned behavior from the past. Unable to see a way out of an oppressive situation/s. Obsessing over or over analyzing a situation.
Eight of Swords Upright Best Course of Action: Sometimes you just have to be stuck. Understand you are unable to see a situation clearly. Your judgment is off or unreliable at this time. It might be prudent to seek professional help. It may be in your best interest not to act at this point, you may not be able to see or grasp the entire picture/all the elements at play in a given situation.
Eight of Swords Reversed: Breaking free of an oppressive situation. Seeing things as they really are. Walking away from a restrictive situation. Tensions or fears easing. Getting off your own back. Disentangling yourself from a difficult relationship or work experience.

When you suggest to *WAIT* relevant to the eight of swords upright, I have been feeling *fenced in* as you describe for 24 years. I do not feel stuck but I do relate to the victim mentality of this card coming from past events. Waiting is not enough. My view of this card is to use the swords that fence me in the cut the ropes that bind me. This way I can take the blindfold off and maybe able to *see* with more clarity the bigger picture.

i do a daily card pull - usually just one, but if i need clarification, i pull another. today my question was ‘what should i do to get closer to meeting the lover i’m manifesting?’. i pulled the 10 of wands, then the reversed 8 of swords for clarification. i have no idea what this could mean - they seem like polar opposite cards, especially in terms of love! if anyone has any ideas, please let me know :)
I pulled this card for how I'm feeling, how I'm on the moment. It completely fits, I've been feeling this way for the last 5 years.

So I was doing a very general reading about myself with just 3 cards (past, present and future) and it's curious how in my past I got the 9 of swards, present 8 of swards reverse and future 7 of swards reverse. I don't personally like the 7 of swards it makes me feel quite uncomfortable and the 8 of swards too.

Does your microphone bounce off sound? Because I have heard, what sounds like a woman's voice in a couple of your videos. The last one said something, along with a clear "Hi". On this one, it is at the 2 min mark. Same sound."not now" or not something. I can't find the other one because I have watched too many. I sound crazy but there is definitely something. I think I might have commented on the other video if so, I'd love to know which one.

This card implies to free yourself. You don't need to be a victim. Your purpose should be to change your mindset, I think. 👩🦱💜
I feel like the card might be telling you that your life purpose is very different than what you have in mind. And the advice might be to continue on the path you are on and new information will become available as you progress and open your mind. Opening your mind is the key to realizing your life purpose I think.
Perhaps telling you that you might be suited to a purpose with some constraints. Some careers have constraints but that can mean they’re very productive careers and lucrative careers.

it sounds like whatever you're going through is really rough and im genuinely really sorry and wish you the best, but you can't be spamming other people with your baggage like this. it isn't a productive way to deal with issues it's extremely jarring and off-putting to others. if you feel you need help, im sure there are people you know personally who would be glad to talk with you and if not, you can talk to a professional and there are help lines as well
