  • Discover the power of Error Handling in ServiceNow Flow Designer! Join me as we explore how to add error handling to your flows and unravel the mystery behind Try logic.
I start by demonstrating how to enhance your flows by adding a simple log action to the error handler section. You'll learn how this action helps in capturing crucial information and gaining insights into the errors that occur within your workflows.
But that's not all! I take it a step further by showing you how to create an error handling subflow, which enables you to break free from the standard 10-action limit of the error handling section. Discover how this technique empowers you to handle errors efficiently and build more complex error handling scenarios.
Moreover, we delve into the intriguing concept of Try logic. Learn how this allows you to proactively address potential failures before they even occur or before they trigger the error handler. By leveraging the Try, you can take preventive measures and ensure smoother flow execution.
This video is all about exploration and equipping you with the right knowledge and tools to deploy in the right situations. Unleash the full potential of Flow Designer Error Handling and become a master of troubleshooting and managing errors in your ServiceNow workflows.

I am trying to do error evaluation on data stream actions , can you tell me how can i get the status code of the response which will state http status codes . I want to create a incident if the data stream action is in error .

      Hey! thanks for the comment!

Data streams?? that is fancy :)..you could just create an output on the data stream action which is mapped to the response status/http status (forget what its called exactly)..then on the flow/subflow just handle that output you created...check out the Action status object though as you maybe able to play with something there to determine the http status (possibly not though)

Thanks. The bell sound is way to loud in headphones.

I think it would be better if you add flow execution link in Error handler Incident. (script : var contextId = FlowScriptAPI.getContextID();)

Absolutely! The ID would certainly be a worthy addition to the Incident description or work notes. Robert fedoruk did a fantastic video a few months ago adding just that. Check it out :)
