I am playing almost 1y and I still didnt finished all building for hyperfarming and like Santiago said, still long way where I will switch mints into hospitals so Building buff is always nice. My list: 1 - Soren. Great for WW, rebels, research, TG, gold production, 2 - Chris. Cause you will get so many free medals, there is no reason to not finish him as gold(without last 20 medals from T4). You need him for TG, rebels, infantry, WW, 3 - Varys - because of research and because there are only 3 F2P spears commanders, 4 - Jaene - because she is beast vs rebels. You have her? you dont need Cav tank. Also again, building buff which you need on this stage of the game, 5 - Arya - must have for TG, great for bonuses on the wall, when attacking(15% totall att), great dps against rebels. + Tyrion. But Tyrion you doing in meantime. Also, if you are F2P - you should buying hearths from VIP shop till Jaene LEG. Than start saving diamonds for Tower 25. Sir Songo

That is partly true, I focussed on Mints early on which are much cheaper than hospitals, with only 6 hospitals I went all the way until I unlocked Tier 4, then I still had 12 and later 10 mints producing gold and each giving me 20% training speed... only after making 500k tier 4 I started swapping the mints for hospitals, now I am on 8/8. - With the boost in research and gold I could also pump researches a lot faster.
The problem is also that you can't just get a commander to gold, it often takes 1 months. if I use say 2 months to get a construction commander up, I also lose a lot of research power, but of course I did have Chris and bought Melisandre very easy so in a way I had the construction boost already.

Crowd control = Struns, Slows, Anti Heal. Whatever you can think of that reduce the enemies attack or abillites. - (Crowd) Resilience is reducing the time stuns and other crowd control takes.

Do you have or know of a list for how to obtain/upgrade F2P Special Commanders? With so many different Shops and Events it is easy to miss when they are available. Also I think I have seen (don't remember which though) a commander available in one event much easier/cheaper to get than in another event. Still new enough not to know where to look or what is a good 'deal' for commander medals.

I have a question. Your strategies are good, they have helped a lot, but I notice something that seems a little off. Arya is not a good commander against rebel leaders because her best skills apply only after an opponent dies, and against a rebel leader there is only one opponent so those skills are not used. Is there another reason she gets three stars? But your TG strategy around her is awesome, so thank you for that!
Depends, for most commanders you have to only buy the cheapest pack everytime it pops up (2 per day) so that will be a half a year time span, if you want to do it as cheap as possible, I think there is 5 expensive ones, not 3. and then there is 11 commanders costing 140$ ($1580), + margaery about 1120$, Seg for $280 (in 10 months) or $930 (in 3 months) then still Annie, and O'Bhien / Mengo were 40$ of course for the royal pass.. so around $5,000 I guess.
For elite Trials and alliance boss trials, commanders benefit more from their respective counters, so fighting against a cavalry commander its hard to get damage out of anything that isn't spear. What I always try to do is only use a few counter characters in the backline (even like Gorell, when fighting cavalry for example) and use a strong frontline meatshield of other characters.. this way I make sure at least my spears fight the entire battle and survive to do optimal damage
@@ForgottenGames ive seen other comments too.. its confusing cos stars are normally gold.. you see it as a good thing to get a gold star... i think you should leave the star grey or silver.. & when its used for good, a gold colour... its like tuned into our brains.. without thinking i was automatically thinking 2 black stars was 3 gold stars.. i completely ignored the black & looked straight at the gold .. which is why its confusing.. its just a bit of advice.. i dunno if other peoples brains work like mine.. i have aspergers.. but seeing others also make the same comment, makes me assume its also confusing for others too..
Not all comanders are free to play. Barret cant be gold if you dont buy wess pass with real money, and what are you talking about rebel leaders, if rebel leader is infantry then you send all calvary comanders, if is Cav then send spearmans if are spear send infantry
This is not always the best choice. Whether its in Trials or Rebel Leaders. Respond and share your set of Commanders you use vs Infantry, vs Cav, and vs Spears, and I WILL show you a non-countering commander who can be used to replace one of them, and give you more damage outcome... in most cases. It could possibly depend on quality and their rank though.

Arya is not only her skill, her base damage and crit chance are very high, one of the highest of all commanders.
