i like your explanations but your guitar sound is incredibly squished and i can barely hear the effect of each cab. When you went from C1 to C7 i heard NO difference. Not even the reverb

Do you need a powered direct box before going into a PA? And do you need a preamp before the cab?
Yes you need a preamp before the cab. I'm not sure about the direct box though as I haven't used the pedal in several years.
