That seems pretty far-fetched and exactly the sort of thing that causes many people to just roll their eyes, turn away and bad-mouth deliverance.
Trauma from curses spoken over a person in the womb or rejection while still a fetus is real. If you have done it to your child, repent and break the curses by the blood of Jesus. The demons were probably acting as protectors of that wound, but now in the presence of the Lord in a safe church they are able to get the inner healing from Jesus from rejection, trauma, curses, ill words, or simply lies that held them captured and gave the demonic a foothold in their life. Your everyday thinking mind is not the only part of you. We can have fractured parts of our emotional soul and we are an eternal spirit. “The word of the Lord is sharper than any double edge sword able to separate soul from spirit.”
I’ve seen people trying to hold down someone who was manifesting demons. Why? I’m not that big, but I am a daughter of the king so when I tell a demon to stop moving the person and I remind them that I understand my authority that’s been given to me they are going to stop moving. I don’t think people understood in the past that it’s not about physical chains you put on the person you have the authority according to the Bible to bind the demonic from causing harm, so you bind it in the name of Jesus and by the power of the blood, it’s simple as that. Deliverance can be beautiful. I’m still learning. I’ve definitely found times when I needed to bind the demons from daemonic retaliation and tell them to pull their weapons out of the individual. I don’t know if the demons are making the person think they’re being tormented or if they’re actually tormenting, but either way you cancel it out and bind it from happening.
You can also say. “If you’re a demon trying to make this person go right now, I tell you you must stay by the authority I have in Jesus Christ.” I understand it can be difficult sometimes to tell the difference between the person and the demon when their eyes or voice doesn’t shift. Also sometimes you’re not dealing with a demon, but you’re dealing with a fractured part of their soul (The world calls the split personality) in that case you don’t try to cast out them from themselves but ask what trauma caused the two parts to separate and you ask Jesus to come in and mend the two parts together. I believe this is often when you will simply see the person slain in the spirit, basically going under for healing surgery. And not to make this overly complicated. But one time a person had a mocking spirit and they were just pretending to be slain in the spirit but the second someone asked is this mocking spirit pretending, it laughed out and got cast out. God is going to guide you. Stay humble, stay repentant, listen to him call on him to do it it. He will show up. Sometimes all you need to do is start speaking the name of Jesus over someone and encouraging them to give it all over to Jesus. If they manifest, you tell what’s manifesting to go in Jesus‘s name by the power of the blood and the fact that he did it all on the cross. You can also bind them from coming back. Mainly, encourage the person to renew their mind daily with scripture and prayer so it doesn’t happen again.
