Nino Rota gave cinema some of his most famous themes.
The accordionist celebrates the centenary of the birth of Nino Rota in his own way. A quintet that the winds of British saxophonist John Surman and American trumpeter Dave Douglas will take to offbeat dreamlike lands. While keeping the essence of this music by Rota, “very joyful with a background of drama” as Galliano describes it.
