Classic CCC Centurion Route King II Garbage Truck!

This has been on my “to film” list ever since I started helping for Gruetter way back in 2016. Only problem is that it did cardboard whenever they did the route. Supposedly it was on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays, but usually wouldn’t get done till Friday, or sometimes it would all be knocked out on Monday. I never knew. Not to mention whenever it did run, I was off on a route with someone else. It literally took me quitting Gruetter to have a helper text me and say all our trucks are broken down, we’re using “24” on residential garbage. This was a first for sure! Luck was on my side as I had literally nothing else to do that day except film this once in a life time experience!
There’s so much I want to say about this truck I don’t even know where to begin hah! From what I’ve heard, this thing has a classic CAT engine in it. All you engine folks will know more so lemme know if I’m right! This is one of the last Crane Carrier Centurion chassis to roam the streets of anywhere haha. I was absolutely pleased to film it. Not only is it a cool truck in itself, but I was lucky enough to film it doing some of the most classic carts in the industry! Zarns, ultra carts, and even and old toter. For you refuse body enthusiasts, and I know a lot of you like Dempsters, we have a few packing shots up close and normal, I’m sure you’ll enjoy. Even got a IN CAB DRIVING SHOT. I really hope you all enjoy this video as much as me!

@Nothwest GarbageTrucks I'm thrilled to see someone appreciates vehicles such as garbage trucks! My thing has always been school busses. My peers always thought I was nuts. But its awesome knowing people do love vehicles of all sorts such as myself with busses. I could tell you what make and model of any school bus. In many cases even the model year and options and specs. Its awesome you have the same type of passion for garbage trucks!

Sick video man. This video could literally not get more Gruetter... a crusty old truck and an old dude with a plaid shirt and bucket hat behind the wheel. Dumping old metal bar zarns too? Now that's just icing on the cake.

I understand why they are hand tipping so many of those carts. Those cart tippers on those trucks suck.
