I miss my granny..Everyone called her Grandma Babe..I think of her often..She passed in 2021 at 97 and she lived a great life and was never sick until the day before she passed..I remember growing up im 36 now but she loved this song..When i think of her this song pops in my head and i can see her in heaven with one of her big Sunday Church hats on cooking a big bowl of pinto beans, hot water cornbread with some of that good ol chicken lol...Man i miss her so much..I have a big family but since she left and some of my aunts and uncles have passed as well our family doesnt even get together like we used too..Lord i miss my granny so much but i know she up there singing in that heavenly choir.

I turn 21 this year and this is my favorite song by them along with MPB. And I’m not Christian anymore but just hearing pop sing made me tear up because THIS IS REAL SOUL IN MUSIC. And when it’s good I never let it go after all these years since my gma and uncle stopped playing this around me I’ve been missing something and I couldn’t find it out til my momma sent it to me 29 minutes ago. It made me cry because I bleed, eat, and drink music no matter the genre. But this type of Gospel will forever be apart of me. I live this song because I was blessed with the gift of singing and I never was accepted in the church choir.
