And then Alice got inspiration to create a webcomic about these two side characters and how they met eachother and got together. And then the rest was history. But yeah it's kind of funny how Heartstopper was the thing that blew up... but Nick and Charlie were originally completely side characters!
They are big issues for 16 years to hold, but it is very common at that age and younger to be dealing with these issues. My whole of my teens was dealing with my mental illness and several different friends mental illnesses just like these as well. This season really touched so close to home for me, I sobbed the whole way through

So Tori is asked "What are you waiting for?" And she says "The End." SAMMMMEEE girl. Existing is so tedious. And then she's asked "Who's your best friend" And she says "Probably my brother. sad" And again, SAAAAMMMMEEE girl. Making friends is so tedious, but I've always been close with my sister.
There’s so much emphasis in these first 2 episodes on the idea of love (obviously with the first chapter called love), but the line right at the end “that’s love darling” just hits me so much. All of these kids are so emotionally mature but still have to learn the weight of love and how it’s not just affection but it’s support and all those little things that make a relationship beautiful. Sorry I’m rambling

Since I knew what this season would contain thanks to reading the books before I was actually not crying during the season, even though I was pretty near it at some points. But that was just me being prepared, not the actors being at falt. They did such an amazing job this season, please hand over some awards like right now! Still feels like these characters have been written for them only.
I actually like Charlie’s mom there’s something going on there that we haven’t addressed yet she definitely cares maybe to much to the point that it stresses her out and then she lashes out and hurt people hurt people I look forward to her journey

This season man. Wow so much happens in episode 4 I feel this season has a whole different vibe to the previous season the only episode with a similar vibe is this one. The change of a more serious, dramatic and adult themes got me by surprise I knew the season would be more mature but I was surprised at first I was so taken aback but I am getting used to it! Currently I haven’t seen episode 8 yet
absolutely! They really aged the show, which is great because the audience has grown up as has the cast! So they've done a great job adapting! I find it interesting Tara and Darcy and Nick and Charlie were both dealing with the same thing on opposite spectrums but equally as unhealthy Tara felt suffocated because she and Darcy were together constantly but Nick and Charlie spent so much time together they felt like they were suffocating without each other

Episode 2 was rough. I will say they picked the perfect character to step in for Nick's mom. She's just what Nick needed.
