Ele representava o Brasil, ou seja, se eu sou brasileiro ele está me represento, então me orgulho de ser brasileiro.
@@lucashoman9970 exatamente. Teria orgulho se a gente liderasse quadro, pq seria por motivos estruturais que com certeza seria acessível a nós cidadãos "normais". Quanto a nós, muitos esportes (como esse) só quem tem bufunfa pode pagar pra ter uma evolução competitiva; claro que existem casos fora disso, mas são exceções de pessoas que sacrificaram uma vida pra isso.
Isso pode me dar orgulho em ver alguém do nosso país conseguindo vencer, pq sabemos da nossa realidade. Mas nunca sentiria orgulho em ser desse país, a vitória da medalha veio do esforço do cara, não do Brasil enquanto nação (aposto que muitos aqui nem sabem descrever exatamente o que seria uma nação, no sentido literal da sua constituição social), mas sim do cara enquanto um talento e esforço nítido.

If they’re not good enough for football they play its variations like futsal or beach soccer = the best nation ever in both
If they’re too tall for football they play volleyball = they’re the best volleyball nation ever
If they can’t afford a volleyball court they play beach volleyball = again, the most dominant nation in the sports’ history
In the free time they do Jujitsu and surfing = nobody comes close to them in Jujitsu and they just got the Olympic surfing gold medalist

@@hristo5689 I'm brazilian, brother Lmao... Yeah, I do agree that Brazil is big when it comes to sports, but just in some of the most famous ones. As you already mentioned, Football and Volleyball. But in general, when it comes to sports as a whole, Brazil doesn't even come close to countries like USA, Japan or China. Just look at the Olympics rn... Brazil has only 2 gold medals, while, in comparison to the top 3, the disparity is absurd. Literally more than 13 Gold Medals in difference. That's a damn big margin. The thing about Brazil is that they really focus their investment in the sports that the country prevails. If Brazil turned into a first world country, then I wouldn't have a slight doubt about them being in the top. The comment of @spookspeak sums it all up. Brazil has thousands of talented athletes, but they need help to grow. 🤘
@@hristo5689 We had, at least once in history, the best tennis player in the world (Guga), the best soccer player in history (Pele), the best Formula1 pilot (Senna), the best swimmer (Cielo), the best volleyball and beach volleyball team, the best surfists, the best marathonist (Vanderlei Cordeiro), the best woman soccer player (Marta), the best judo/jiujitsu fighters, the best MMA/UFC fighters (Silva, Belford, etc), the best futsal player (Falcão), the best gymnastic athletes in many categories...
If this means we're "not even close" of being the best country when it comes to sports, man...imagine when we do! lmao

Cielo is the fastest man in HISTORY, period. 20.91! And nowadays we have Bruno Fratus the Third Fastest man in History! So all this names can beat Alexandr Popov by a huge edge, this comparsion it's not even fair.

random channel 101 Unlikely to happen, Cielo apears to be swiming with some sort of injury in Kazan, his time on the 50 fly was crap and he complained a lot about an injury he had close to the championship that is still bothering him. Most likely Cielo wont take the cake on the 50 free in Kazan, but he might on Rio.

Miles Brown You do know that he wrote that 1 year ago right ? No one expected Cielo not to make time back them (technically he did make time, 21.8, but Brazil have 2 dudes swimming faster than that). Cielo had a very bad cycle after London, injurys and problems with his training, he also kinda lost focus. O well guess he done what he could can't see him winning worlds and stuff like that anymore.
