    I always enjoy these Video,s, such a lot of hard work put into this layout and it shows

      +John B : Thank you for that, and you are right....there is a lot of hard (and skilled) work goes in to the layout.

    Good to see them all at work , think the banter would have been interesting to hear ?? a crew on the footplate of Bulldog would have been nice to see , in 0 gauge it stands out more than ever a driverless footplate ...just my observation ..still envious of that large layout they have put to gether with all the scratchbuild ..Dave

      ***** Hello David, the banter as such was more flatulence that anything....it was a noisy and cloudy day!!! Footplate crew crops up quite often, and he say's he is happy to have his locos running around without them. Thank you as always David for your comment, and continued interest in my videos and the layout.

      kevintregunna Thank you Kevin once again for your comment, the new project should look great when finished. Of course I shall try and film the progress of it as much as I can.

    I just can't get my head around just how huge this layout must be.
    With shots like 18:50 it's hard to believe this is O gauge!

      I can assure you, this is a fantastic layout....14 years in the making mind. Thanks for your comment.

    Thanks Dave. Nice to see the chaps hard at it. The Bulldog is a nice item..are the carriages scratch built or from kits? I did notice one little curiosity...on the still of Clapham Place at 23.34 there is no guttering to the roof above the front doors and windows...was this normal? Looking forward to the next one. Cheers, Bob

    Always interesting videos. Do you mix washing-up liquid with your diluted glue for the ballast?

      Noel Hall Yes. We make two liters at a time and use about two big squirts.
      Hope this helps, and thank you for your comment and question.

    Good to see other areas of the layout being worked on,do you know if all the track work is all in place or is there still more to put down.
    Kev

      percomotion As far as I know, the only track work to fit is when the turntable goes in....and that is not imminent just yet.

    What a wonderful layout..
    I love the irony that this is PW's and you've got some cheesy tunez..
    Well done.

      The lads keep asking him to supply me with something different ( as they are fed up with the same stuff as well), but no joy yet!!!!

    Hey Dave!
    Fantastic Video! For editing out the 'banter' have you given thought to Sound Dubbing?
    Cheers!

    • @DaveCooper36b
      @DaveCooper36b  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alexander Beck Thank you for your comment, and I have considered sound dubbing.....but being a Yorkshireman does not come across too well. I have asked others to voice over for me, but they are busy people. Hope the soundtrack didn't spoil it too much for you.

    • @TheShiftySkies
      @TheShiftySkies 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dave Cooper not at all! I meant more like the sounds of a railway during the steam Era when I said dubbing lol

    • @DaveCooper36b
      @DaveCooper36b  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alexander Beck Oh I'm sorry, I should have taken the straw out of my mouth, and my flat cap off. It is a good suggestion but involves copyright problems. Not only that, our well educated followers of my videos would want the correct sound to the loco. That would involve quite a few problems to me, also very time consuming. A nice idea though.....................

    A fantastic layout to make anyone jealous ( especially me) BUT why no Drivers or Firemen ?? . Well done Pete and all helpers

    • @DaveCooper36b
      @DaveCooper36b  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      James Lord I have this question a lot, and it is Pete's preference not to have them on. Having said that, he has got footplate crew on one or two of this models....but then he has over 150 of them.

    • @jratsouthfork
      @jratsouthfork 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Hi Dave, Thanks for your reply. Maybe its because he doesn't want to pay 150 lots of wages to the crews ? LOL

    Great videos but too many SPAD s (signal passed at danger) for my liking

    • @DaveCooper36b
      @DaveCooper36b  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Malcolm Phillips This is an issue I have the most complaints about, and I hope you realise this is beyond my control.
      Les Fram who can only get on Thursdays is the main man for that, and as there a lots more issues other than the signals to attend to, it is an ongoing process. But...in time it will be done. He has installed brand new up to date control boxes and controls, the signals in turn will be connected. I hope everyone understands this is a 160' x 72' layout, and is a very complex layout....so these thing do take time, and cannot be done overnight.
      Thank you for your comment. Dave Cooper
