Thanks for the in depth review with a historical spin of this amazing Designer and his scent. I actually discovered your splendid content while searching for the sister fragrance the Ungaro lll Oud. I purchased a bottle a while ago and wanting to replace it but having a difficult time etc .
@@dimitrisorceryofscent It’s one of the best OUD scents and especially due to the price. I think it’s totally sold out if that is even possible. I am going to have to go to these obscure mall shops or try the wholesale fragrance district in NYC when I am there next and like yourself pick up 3 to 4 bottles because it’s that good.

I'm a fan of all the Ungaro fragrances past and present myself. Especially with one of them being a star of my entire collection and had taken a long time to track down.... 'Ombre De La Nuit' a boutique only limited edition (2000 bottles) by Demachy in the early 90s and was commissioned as Emanuel's own signature fragrance.... also the bottle is a piece of modern art in itself.

👌Sounds lovely indeed. You're right about maceration imho.... Many of the reformulated ones in my collection got "better" or more true to the earlier ones during the years... Maybe it's just aging, whether of myself or the juice.... But I'm fine with that 🎉😅

I have and love I and II and now will have to track down some III. I am not mad keen on rose as a note but this one sounds very nice.
Its not outrageously rosey, Eric... I think theres enough going on with other notes to veer it away from a " rose scent".
