Great video. We live close by and stay there quite often. Jackie and Amie are wonderful people, and we just love them to death. I like staying on site 59 due to it having the biggest "yard". We have also stayed in site 66 which is next to the road and the noise was not that bad.
Thats good to know about those sites! I think 51 would be a good one? We loved the place! I think if or was during the summer with leaves on the trees that would block most of the road noise. I hope I didn’t make it seem bad, i just thought it was worth mentioning about the road in case anyone thought about it. It was so noticeable on video but for the most part we only really noticed it when we first got there. I am glad you told me their names, for the life of me i could not remember. They were super nice! We highly recommend this place! When is the best time to go here in your opinion?
@@GlampReview Summer is a good time but we like the spring or fall. Any of the holidays are good if you can get in. For Easter, they do an egg hunt for the kids. We really like Halloween. We have been there for the last 2 years for Halloween, they do hayrides, pumpkin carvings, trick or treating for the kids with a costume contest and a site decorating contest. They also do a big thing for Christmas.
We will have to come back and do an update review in the spring or early fall and do Halloween there. I saw yesterday on their facebook page they have cleared off a large area. Tonya and I will plan a trip back next year to get an update on this and cover more. For this year we are already booked up with trips I may try to squeeze it in but may have to wait until next year. Thanks for the info! Others that watch this video may see your comments which may help someone make that final decision. I only wish more would give helpful info like you have, Thanks!
We love 411 River Rest. Jackie and Ami are great folks. This is our grand kids favorite park. They love the arcade, splash pad and gem mining. We always have to go to Panarama and get apple pie and Ice cream. Good video.
We have stayed a few times at this campground and we have really enjoyed it. We have also stayed in the sites near the road and it is noisy but doable. We stayed once in the pull thru near the bathhouse and not noisy in those spots. I do wish they had a swimming pool and not just a splash pad but they do have a great playground for kids. Also in the summer they had mayfield ice cream in the store that they scooped!
They had ice cream in the store we were going to go back up there after we ate but we were full of pizza! I figure site 51 would be the best rive site. I bet the road is hardly noticeable there. Also I bet in the summer its not as loud as late fall and winter. Most of the leaves were off the trees when we went so the sound carried more. On their facebook page I saw that they have cleared more land and I wonder if they are going to put an amenities area with a pool in there??? I also saw on their facebook page they get very busy during Halloween. Looks like a cool event time! Glamp Review may have to go back in a couple years and do an update-review!
I was so odd when we got there I was thinking where in the world is everyone. Last time I was there it was so packed you couldn't hardly move. It was closing time so that was why I guess, like I said in the video.
It is! They are currently doing some updates adding a new section not real sure yet. I just noticed on their facebook page after i made the video. If your ever around that area you should try it out.

Great job with the video! The owners of this campground are some of the nicest people you will meet.
Thank you! And we agree!

You guys should check out Paynes Creek Campground on Lake Hartwell. It's our favorite place in Georgia!!
We will have to try that one! Thank you for watching!
Excellent job, as usual. 🙂 I've been to the Panorama Orchard a couple of times myself.
Thanks!
I was so odd when we got there I was thinking where in the world is everyone. Last time I was there it was so packed you couldn't hardly move. It was closing time so that was why I guess, like I said in the video.
Thank you for sharing. Looks like a great campground
