WOW!! Such a cool idea! I have several beach balls left over from a birthday party and didn't want to throw them away! So glad I found your video...8yrs later!! Thanks for this awesome idea!
I think what I did is I use tape painters, blue tape, and I painted each section at a time and allowed it to dry on the side and somehow anchored it and then painted each section after
How has the paint held up? I am going to make some of these on a smaller scale to go over my baby's crib in the nursery and loooove this. The ones on amazon for sale that look just like it are so expensive and I can't drop $80 on it!
If you wanted to make your balloon a little more sturdy...You could add some paper mache to it in a thin layer. Just let it dry, and then continue on with the painting in thinner layers for the red and white stripes. It would prevent an accidental popping of the balloon. Even one layer would help! Just a thought. I love this idea...It looks so authentic compared to many I've seen....Thanx for sharing! 😊❤😎🖒🖒
OMG you are way too adorable! This is my first time seeing a video of yours and your "happy- go- lucky" attitude and consistent smiles throughout the video are very contagious, so thanks for helping me bring out my kind side this morning. Oh and the balloon is fabulous too! 😊
Hello what kind of paint did you use to paint the ball? And did you buy the rope twisted like that or make it? Oh amd i last question sorry lol how did uou stick the rope to the ball
VanessaS gelding I used plain old acrylic paint and the rope to surround the ball I unraveled it to make it thinner and didn’t glue to ball at all! The ball floats right inside its rope cage
Gahhh! This tutorial is so neat!!! I think I will make one for our "Glamper". I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL SO MUCH! Thanks for sharing your talents with us!! PS. Thanks for showing us how to make our own paint canvas!!! I've never been able to afford a large canvas from the store...and am excited to make my own soon!
Love your hot air ballon! Your awesome! The best one I've ever seen. Still not sure how to make the rope stay around the balloon without coming off on top or the bottom.
wow what an amazing idea I love the fact that it looks like an old fashioned air balloon you are very talented hope this is some more videos I am your subscriber
Hello! I’m attempting this for my baby due in December! What size rope did you use? I realise this was ten years ago so apologies!
