If you notice, the Israeli military marches in unison but it's not to the fanatical degree in other military ceremonies performed by other countries. as well as the soldiers not being of the same exact size or even gender. There's a reason for this. Marching like this shows and praise and respect for the individual human mind and diversity. This is probably Israel's greatest asset.

Wonderful March of a mighty army of Israel with the blessing from God Almighty. No army can compare to Israel army. Though a small country but it has an army that no other country can compare with. Their leader is the God of heaven the Creator.
The best part of the IDF videos is they physically bear no resemblance to soldiers as we envision soldiers, physically, and temperamentally (seem totally devoid of warrior instinct/aggression), they seem too tender, gentle, and nice to hurt a fly. But they all know, right up to the Prime Minister, that the IDF doesn't have or cultivate warriors in the regular mold. These are people that love their country and their people (they're like one family) so much, they will do anything for that love, overcoming their natural gentleness if need be, but only if forced. Love may not seem a normal emotion to dominate a military, but that's the IDF.

I don't know about that, buth the Arabs have been excellent tutors in the military arts. Such is the scourge of necessity, when confronted w/ the stark choice of victory or extermination you become a focused student.
