    Thank you for this wonderful talk you had with Alina. I am glad to be a part now also with your channel and it was a real treat to spend time with both of you today. I watched your other video with Alina that you had earlier, and decided to follow you. I am now a resident of Ukraine, I live with my fiance in Odessa and will definitely be following you in your video's to learn more and more. Being in Ukraine now as a permanent resident from the U.S. has been so far a wonderful experience and look forward to a lot more that will take me to places that continue to amaze me beyond anything I have ever had in my life. I have a channel that will premier sometime in November dealing with many niches including the travel channels and history that fascinates me. I hope to include you if you are interested in promoting your channel just like I will do for Alina and many others that I follow. Thank you for so much you have shared, and I will catch up on your other video's you have done and especially want to thank Alina for allowing me to meet you and look forward to some great video's from you as well. Be safe and let your light shine always, you both made my day today!! Cheers to you!!!

    I find it odd how so many people from Ukraine comment that Americans' basic friendliness seems "fake". It isn't fake, it is a matter of signaling that you are open to something new and being welcoming to others. One could easily say that Ukrainians who walk around looking grim are also being "fake". It is hard to believe no one in Ukraine is open to something new or feel welcoming to others. The point is, it is cultural not "fake". BTW- where do you think most people would prefer to live? In a place where strangers are friendly, open and welcoming or where everyone ignores you and looks grim?

    I visited Canada as a kid back in the 80s. Ontario was similar to USA, because we both spoke English, crossing the border was extremely easy. Canada was a fairly free country while Ukraine was still in the USSR. My how times have changed. Canada is now a socialist nightmare, no longer a free country, while Ukraine is surprisingly free (I was there September 2021).

    NICE INTERVIEW TAYA!!! I m an Alinas follower since a couple years and she's a wonderful girl very intelligent with high charisma. I love the way you make the questions so much spontaneity, totally open and so much HONESTY AND SINCERITY on the answers. She was right when she said about dating in North America but as she said we have a lot of cultures here and a lot of us we still in love with the traditional way of romance like Ukrainian way or maybe because I m mexican American

    Thank you for the wonderful video. There were great topics and wonderful answers. And, considering my recent three month stay in Lviv over June, July and August, very insightful views into the cultural differences between eastern European and north western Canadian/American ways of thinking. I thoroughly enjoyed (and learned quite a bit) from the video and I fully support the European classical and traditional approach to marriage and human relationships. Seeing the amazing cathedrals (and the cathedral architecture) and the wedding couples having their Saturday morning (and afternoon) photographs taken in front of them - was a great reminder to me that human caring and romance still exist in the world and that everything is not all 'doom and gloom' according to the prevailing mass cultural media. Thank you Taya and Alina. Super best to the both of you.

    So great to see the two of you together in both videos. Taya, you asked a lot of great questions in this particular one, and Alina, you gave very thoughtful answers. The conversation flowed very smoothly! It is great to learn about some of the differences between your two countries and cultures. I hope I can make it to Ukraine some day. My grandparents came to Canada from Lviv in 1904. Of course, it was part of Austria Hungary at that time.

  • @exskcowboy1954

    I think the things Alina mentioned about relationships in Canada can be very different based on a few factors. Age can play a big part, where and how one is raised can also play a big part. There are a lot of females in Canada now that want to pay half and will not let the man pay the whole bill.

    7:36 . For the most part she is correct. Over here there is alot of surface-acting employed. Thats not necessarily a bad thing. In the world of business its the norm.but with potential relationships it doesn't work. Could take a lesson from Ukraine here. Great video!

  • @gillesspony4264
    @gillesspony4264 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love your video! Make me think a lot about whats going on in the western world about relationship between men and women. It was very enlightening to hear you both with your cultural differences Ukrainian upbringing versus Canadian upbringing (even if Alina's mother is also from Ukraine).
    I ve been brought up in another type of (western) culture, France, ...and as a male I always paid for all the dates I had in my entired life ...Never share 50/50 not even once...but to be honest..my dream would have been to meet at least once..a girl who feel not happy by that ..A truly "equalitarian" type of women not accepting the symbol of man domination (through not accepting the male's dominance through the symbol of money). I would have been really impressed. So I m discovering that now in Canada (maybe in USA too?) its becoming a new culture!! Wouahh!! Very interesting!! May I ask Alina (and any readers) when this started to become trendy in Canada?..this 50/50 per cent sharing when dating? I m really curious! ... Thank you again both of you for a truly enjoyable video!

    Great interview, Taya. Alina and her mother lived in a near poverty situation when she was a young child. She has a heart for those who have limited financial means, because of this. Alina, while she had no choice but to assimilate with her family’s culture in Canada, she has retained much of her conservative values from the country of her origin. It is also noteworthy that living in a small rural farming community, even in Canada, exposes one to relatively more conservative, family and community-protective, values than one finds in the larger cities. Alina’s current career of freely traveling, without apparent ties to a significant other (mate), seems to conceal these deeper values, so it is very surprising and even refreshing to hear her expose these as part of her character. Somehow, I always knew they were there - as you can see how “wholesome” she is, and that she has not “settled” for anything less than a true loving gentleman as her partner in life. I know she will hold out until a true twin soulmate comes her way - and can you blame her? She is a beautiful person to behold.

    Excellent interview! My thoughts on the topics discussed: Transportation in the USA, outside the major U.S. cities, is rather appalling (you need a car). Ukrainian transportation sounds far superior! Homelessness is a major problem in USA, and not just seniors asking for financial assistance on the streets. One question that I thought could have been asked is about the differences in medical/dental care in Canada and Ukraine. In USA, very expensive!

    11:00 minutes of the video: Canadian here. I was just talking with a friend from high school and we were discussing that our parents where all married with their first child at 18-20 years old and now it's 30.6 years old for both sex's in Canada now. I was planning on spending summers in the Ukraine and the winter months in SE Asia but now I'm not so sure... I'm very said about the war. I have a friend who bought a condo in Kiev 6 months before the start of the war.
    I also agree with the cell phone prices and dating style in Canada and the West! Not a fan of either.
