Floridian here, the guy holding up the alligator is a specialist. If you have an alligator in your pool or on your property you call someone like him to remove and relocate it. The middle school I went to had to call people like the guy in the picture a few times to have an alligator removed from school property.

The venom is sent to labs that make the anti-venin described here; the drug is very expensive and has a short shelf life, so most hospitals don't carry it. Some of the snakes at the Roundup are killed and skinned, then eaten, but most are taken back to the hills and released. The Roundups are like a tailgate party.

There are lots of deer that live in the park down the street from me here. Rattlesnakes have bitten and killed people not too far from here. I have seen wolves not too far north of Mpls/St.Paul. And bunnies beware!: there are lots of various hawks and owls and also bald eagles right in the city. Good bird watching.

One of my buddies didn't realize how close he'd gotten to a newborn calf sleeping in some tall grass and mom was pissed. I hear yelling and look up to see my friend booking it across the field with the cow close behind. He barely managed to hurdle the barbed wire fence and escape, splitting his pants (and nearly his bean bag) in the process.
I also did the barb wire hurdle once when the bull that was with the cows I was herding home took after me. That same bull knocked down my dad a couple of years later. Luckily he survived with only a dislocated shoulder and nine broken ribs for injuries. The bull didn’t. He went to market soon after.

Yes, we used to go cow tipping when we were teenagers which is basically sneak out in the field when they’re standing sleeping and push them over and you better run like well you better run saying nicely that got back up or nearby they’re coming after you but we thought that was fun

The coyote is really the only one of these animals I see and I may see one every 10 days or so. There are I'd say 5 living in the area but I have never heard of anyone having a problem from them. They keep a distance from people. I usually see them sunning out in a field across the street from me. I love seeing them!
Cougars and Wolves are repopulating Michigan. Black bears are common in the northern parts. Coyotes have invaded Michigan. We also have Missasauga rattle snakes, however they are rare and mostly just get you sick

I've lived in South Carolina, California and now Florida. I've never known anyone who is affected by any of this with the exception of driving into deer, Lyme disease and spider bites. And now we have the "Grolar bear", a cross between a grizzly bear and a polar bear. The reason for this new super predator , is there environments are starting to over lapping, and there's been natural cross breeding of the two species where in the past it didn't. I can't tell you what to do if you find your self face to face with is monster, playing dead may work with a grizzly, but to my understanding, there are no tricks for the polar bear, your just food too them, if or in east and NE Alaska, or Northern Canada, have a big bore boom stick with you.
The most terrifying is a Grizlie Bear. Because of their size. I was fishing in alaska and a griz ambled up and sat down beside me. Now I should explain that on all fours it's shoulder was 9 foot off the ground. In fact I was only startled when the Game warden yelled for me to stop feeding the Bear. Apparently it is illegal to feed the Bears. However I figured it was me or the salmon i had caught. The bear upon seeing all the fish were in his belly, simply got up and went up river a short distance and crawled into the Falls to await more salmon. I promptly opened my thermos and poured a hot cup of coffee, added some cream and after the hand shaking ended drank my coffee. Oh and for some reason the Game wardens across the river sent two women game wardens to give me my fine. Me scared, no just terrified as the fish started to run out. You are in extreme danger when they are close. A week after that I saw a man curl up into a ball, protecting his head and neck. The bear in question seemed to lift itself off of it's front paws and then came down with it's full weight. Crushed the man. Such was chance in the wilderness. You would be amazed at what is just on the other side of the wall, when your sleeping in your nice cozy bed.
Oh and rarely rarely rarely do wolves attack and the closer to their former territory thst they lose as people spread out but they are actually very shy. They don't want to be around you. They aren't dogs.
I was attacked by a deer as a teenager. I was riding my bike and the darn thing tried to ram me from the side. Thankfully I managed to dodge and just crashed my bike barely avoiding falling into a pond .

Black bear that is. If you're gonna run into a bear u want it to be black bear. Oh they can kill you easy but they're not too aggressive either unless it's a mama or big male. Grizzly now, they are always ready to fight and good luck to you. Theres a few grizzly sightings but mostly it's black bear territory here.
Washington State had a cougar attack in 2018 in North Bend killing 1 bicyclist and injurying the other . Yes they tracked and killed the cougar by Wildlife Officials.

A rattlesnake will thrive in temperatures WAY higher than 90f. They are happy as a pig in mud here in the summer where it gets up to 115.
They love Florida as well. Summer 90+f, no problem.

Yeah, Coyotes have only killed like 2 or 3 humans in America/Canada as far as I know. They're way more dangerous towards pets.

They didn't mention wild boar or Moose. We have a massive wild boar problem in the United States. The largest ever hunted was about 800 lbs.
I don't have moose where I live but wild boars are terrible. They can have 3 huge litters a year, so the population is exploding.

In British Columbia Mountain Lions do come into town. Lock your cats and dogs, they are easy prey. Also cows and horses.

My daughter lives on the outskirts of Portland Oregon and she has seen cougars in her backyard.
Coyote are also in my area. I regularly hear them.
Here in SW Texas we have an insect called Vinegaroon. Looks like a mutated scorpion.
There is a new type of bear now. It is far more dangerous than any other. It is the cross breed of polar bears and grizzly bears. This new bears have the dangerous traits of both bears.
😂I live in Utah. We've been warned to keep an eye on our kids in our own backyard. Cougars have been suspected of taking neighbors' sheep.🤷♂️
They missed the Moose! We're told that Moose are more deadly than bears around here.

The coyote is really the only one of these animals I see and I may see one every 10 days or so. There are I'd say 5 living in the area but I have never heard of anyone having a problem from them. They keep a distance from people. I usually see them sunning out in a field across the street from me. I love seeing them!
Cougars and Wolves are repopulating Michigan.
Black bears are common in the northern parts.
Coyotes have invaded Michigan.
We also have Missasauga rattle snakes, however they are rare and mostly just get you sick
Here in Alabama a lady was killed by a flying pig about 30 years ago. The pig was in the road and hit by a truck, it went airborne and through a ladies windshield killing her. Crazy huh?

Cows are a menace. Although we stayed as far away from the cows as possible while out playing, one singled me out and chased me to the barn.
Wait, wait, wait. As far as I know, the coyote is truly misaligned. I grew up with them. As far as I know, they haven't even stolen a "baby." They understand that humans are off limits. Probably because of coexisting for hundreds of years alongside them. They're super intelligent medium to small doggies who love us but absolutely do not want to be dressed up in a "cute suit"
I live in NM and I’ve had a mountain lion pass through my yard. We also get bears in our fruit trees. Luckily, they’re black bears.
We have coyotes walking down our neighborhood streets this year in metropolitan southeastern virginia. They've been in the area for many years but seem to be expanding in numbers and/or territory.
Two years ago, there was a puma in someone's back yard, in my city, not in the woods. Animal control was able to safely remove it ;-)
It's funny because wolves are very afraid of people lol. They run at the mere sight of a human.
Google AI just claimed that 0.05% of American deaths each year are caused by these types of bites and other attacks. The overwhelming majority of animal deaths each year are caused by pets. Dogs. I've lived in South Carolina, California and now Florida. I've never known anyone who is affected by any of this with the exception of driving into deer, Lyme disease and spider bites. Still all rare. Even in Florida, alligators attacks are a freak occurrence. 🐊 Please don't worry. No one else does.
Coyotes are pretty much everywhere in California.. My sister even saw one in San Francisco where she lives. My guess is because habitat loss

But yeah, we had a pack of coyotes near my house, and we'd sometimes hear them in the middle of the night getting their heads kicked in by our yard dogs when they came too close.

When I was climbing down Angel's landing in Zion National Park, I came face-to-face with a mountain lion and I just stared at it and waited to see what it would do next and whether or not I have to fight for my life _ first time, I really got scared because I thought I would grab the mountain lion and jump off the mountain.
I live in Alaska n see many bears. Grizzly Bears can stand around 17 feet.They need to add Moose to the list. They both become aggressive if with their young. I have lived with wildlife for years n have learned how to stay safe. ❤
The largest Grizzly recorded stood 11 feet.
Sidewinder are more aggressive than timber rattlers. The most deadly snake in the US is the Mojave Viper, followed closely by the coral snake.

Where I live (Southern Arizona), people occasionally have mountain lions on their roofs. And we also have the rare, solitary jaguar.
I live in Maine and our rural area has coyotes even in town. It's actually their season right now And you cannot let your pets out at night by themselves or they are going to get eaten.
Lol bro in Washington State we get bears in downtown Seattle. That's 50 miles away from nature. We also got 2 mountain bikers dead from a cougar attack.
And now we have the "Grolar bear", a cross between a grizzly bear and a polar bear. The reason for this new super predator , is there environments are starting to over lapping, and there's been natural cross breeding of the two species where in the past it didn't. I can't tell you what to do if you find your self face to face with is monster, playing dead may work with a grizzly, but to my understanding, there are no tricks for the polar bear, your just food too them, if or in east and NE Alaska, or Northern Canada, have a big bore boom stick with you.
The most terrifying is a Grizlie Bear. Because of their size. I was fishing in alaska and a griz ambled up and sat down beside me. Now I should explain that on all fours it's shoulder was 9 foot off the ground. In fact I was only startled when the Game warden yelled for me to stop feeding the Bear. Apparently it is illegal to feed the Bears. However I figured it was me or the salmon i had caught. The bear upon seeing all the fish were in his belly, simply got up and went up river a short distance and crawled into the Falls to await more salmon. I promptly opened my thermos and poured a hot cup of coffee, added some cream and after the hand shaking ended drank my coffee. Oh and for some reason the Game wardens across the river sent two women game wardens to give me my fine. Me scared, no just terrified as the fish started to run out. You are in extreme danger when they are close. A week after that I saw a man curl up into a ball, protecting his head and neck. The bear in question seemed to lift itself off of it's front paws and then came down with it's full weight. Crushed the man. Such was chance in the wilderness. You would be amazed at what is just on the other side of the wall, when your sleeping in your nice cozy bed.
Copperheads and water moccasins scare me more than rattlesnakes
Oh and rarely rarely rarely do wolves attack and the closer to their former territory thst they lose as people spread out but they are actually very shy. They don't want to be around you. They aren't dogs.
I was attacked by a deer as a teenager. I was riding my bike and the darn thing tried to ram me from the side. Thankfully I managed to dodge and just crashed my bike barely avoiding falling into a pond .

The spider he was describing wasn't a black widow. Pest control guy told him what is real problem was the Black widows in his garden. Not the big spider he called the pest control guy to take care of.

Wa state here. I live in cougar bear and rattlesnake country snd who knows? Maybe Bigfoot. Lol also neighbors are bsld eagles. I have a 500 lbs bear that cruises through every so often. Black bear that is. If you're gonna run into a bear u want it to be black bear. Oh they can kill you easy but they're not too aggressive either unless it's a mama or big male. Grizzly now, they are always ready to fight and good luck to you. Theres a few grizzly sightings but mostly it's black bear territory here.

Washington State had a cougar attack in 2018 in North Bend killing 1 bicyclist and injurying the other . Yes they tracked and killed the cougar by Wildlife Officials.
