Denon were the best and probably still are for sound. Some are brands that people buy others are sound quality of goods parts I hope still made in Japan only.
The Denon DL-103 LC1/ DL-103 LCII/DL-103SL/DL-103FL for sell in Japan market only, and the DL-103/DL-103R for export The cheap price and good sounds for my ear are DL-103LCII and DL-103s and the best DL-103 version is DL-103FL
What a swing! the idler wheel of the Garrard has something to do with it, were you able to compare the 301 against the Thorens TD124? I enjoy your videos, thank you
I sold the RX-5000 about 10 years Both have good sounds, with the Garrard I can make custom plinths and self-serviced for the Garrard The plinth I made can be mounted on any tonearm on the market and can swap the tonearm more quickly and easily than the Micro Seiki does
Wow! Lovely sound. And what a treasure trove. I love the look of the white and grey fascia in the wood surround.
It's the giant pepper mill on the spindle that sprinkles the final seasoning to the sound 😂
Those horns made me swoon!
very impressive!

That strobe light is super cool. Do you have any details on it? Who makes it? It's not an oem garrard part is it?

We used to see you using Mrico Seiki 5000; what happened to the TT. Did you sell it? Do you like Garrard 301 better?

What is the stylus profile on the Dl-103’s As Denon have always been very vague in their descriptions
I have never tried to find the stylus built-in for most cartridges
But I have tried X cartridges in the past
