Duuuuddddeeee Karenina is so good!! I find the best way to get her going is to use the matrix time to get two 3-pings, and then beat on the corrupted until you get the third pretty quick
Guys am I lucky I just start the game yesterday and I unlocked r&d today. On my 4th pull excluding for the chainsaw girl default character, I got karerina.
I find S Liv & Nanami to be the best early pick if you are looking on efficiency because you got their 5 star weapon very early on. Liv's is from day 2 log in and Nanami's from novice mission. Getting their 5 star weapon to easily steam roll the campaign even if you are half of the recommended power level
S Liv is a unit you will want for latter game modes such as stronghold which require multiple teams to be used so you want ALL the healers you can get your hands on. Most healers are for a specific elemental team. S Liv is a nice universal healer and someone you will eventually want in your Roster.
It’s not about gameplay but I really appreciate that the female characters like Lucia have more adult, mature sounding voices and it skews more vibe and aesthetically to the Ghost in the Shell / Akira end of the Anime spectrum of darker cyperpunk and keeps the “kawaii” to a minimum. For that reason it appeals to me more than HI or GI
Before I knew what the meta was, I've already made up my mind to get characters with Dark element because the idea of that sounds pretty cool. Since Kamui is the only character with that element, I went with him. Good to know that his element will be useful in the future Honestly though, many of the characters in this game have amazing designs!
Ranged structurers are pretty good as theyre easier to play with. The ones on the S-Rank selectors however arent really that great. If you really want a strong ranged structurer my advice would be to use Bianca. Especially her S version is very strong.
If you don't use any black cards for the newbie banner you should be fine. The monthly cards are a good purchase if you're willing to spend a bit of money.
Seems like Alpha Banner might be 70% chance on debut like CN, way back 2019. So, we are 30% fak, its still not guranteed to get her even with 60 pity pull.
Same here. But after going through all them and seeing them in action I really like S-Liv. I lean more towards support characters in games and her animations are awesome. I think I found who I want..
Kamui look sick.. I've played a bit of PGR back on early CN release but i never got him so i probably gonna pick him, also after playing genshin for a long time now i really love character that use greatsword
@@ishaankhandelwal7798 Kamui is a dark tank, so in that case the best team composition would imo be S-Kamui A-Watanabe (dark) A-Vera Im pretty sure this is considered to be the main team until Luna comes along somewhere further down the line. If Luna gets released replace Watanabe with her.

I had a hard time choosing between S-Liv and S-Lee, I actually choose based on the character's design and personally for me theirs was the best. I spent a good 20 minute pondering which one to choose and finally made up my mind and chose Liv.
Oh man, all these characters look (aesthetically) so goood!! Lee is liek an amped up Neo form Matrix, Kawaiinina is too cute, Nanami is bae, Liv... not bad but not my preference, and Kamui looks like a bad-ass bro!
Tried PGR earlier -seems nice, interesting lore. Though i just played till 1-12 -when Enterprise isn't a shipgirl, she's a Gray Raven. Lucia best girl -gameplay kinda weird (former HI3 player here), dodges have cooldown and it can't cancel your attacks. Other than that, sexy smoking style combos are possible -equipment and enhancing are pretty straightforward -got Nanami at free roll -attacker, healer, shielder(?)... not sure if there's also elemental types Gonna give this a try for a bit.
I just went for Nanami cause she looks the best for me. Also, a good tank seems more important than a good dps, especially since we will get Alpha down the line
You definitely should, it's a great game with a ton to do. All it lacks is co-op but it's still amazing without it imo EDIT: I didn't know this when I originally posted this but there is co-OP in the form of support
@Fly Arrow it shouldn't be because of the art style but there's also a lot of pixels to load in every screen so that could make it lag a bunch and possibly ruin the experience
Personally I wouldnt pick Lee because of the existance of Alpha early in the game. If you don't get her then Lee would be an ok option. Otherwise youre not gonna use him much.
@@krustvager7866 Tank can be sub dps and have passive skills/memories to reduce target defense. And in game play when your main getting hurt/stun by enmey hits or run out of dodge bar you can switch to tank char. In addition char can also recover orbs and dodge bar when replaced. In general most enemies are designed to have high defense and low HP thats why main could increase dps significantly after tank hits.
I didnt know who to pick since i dont know any of there playstyles so thanks for this. Havent watched the vid fully yet, but hopefully ill be able to decide after this video!
Everyone is sleeping on S Liv but as Rexlent and others talked about you will need more healers in your teams, not just one the B Liv you get is not enough, your score in various stages takes into account the amount of dmg you take as well and later Pane Cage is constantly draining your HP, so really S Liv is way better then most people give her credit for.
She's got pretty good dps and survivability though her healing is definetly outclassed by her A counterpart. If you select A-Liv on the newbie banner as rate up and end up getting her then you really wont find much use for S-Liv other than difficult coop stages.
i think if you're going to try and inform players of who to choose, you should keep "it's not a fun playstyle for me" comments out because it really downplays a character and makes new players who know nothing less attracted to play/get them. I've never played pgr, but hearing how you talked about karenina and liv, made me not even want to give them a chance with how negative you sounded towards them. if you stick with just their strengths and weaknesses and playstyle, then that would be more informative.
It is generally PvE, though pain cage and Warzone also require you to get a higher score than other players to perform well. The rewards for doing better arent significant but paying attention to meta is adviced if you want to score high.
Gahhh I'm gonna have such a hard time picking between Karenina and Nanami. They both seem to have active/involved playstyles that expect you to stay on your toes. I know it's not always everyone's favorite cos more work.. maybe less efficient but keeping those chains going can be so satisfying!
Friendly reminder, for those who wants to pull on Nier collab banner, don't waste ur black cards, coz the ticket is not the same as event banner ticket. But The collab banners are probably the most worth your bucks banners, first you will get 9S(Login) and A2(Event) for free along with their own 5* weapons; second, for every 10 event construct pulls you will get 3 free pulls; in the store you can buy 30 shards to make event constructs SS with around $50; their event weapon banner separate from the target banner one, and inside there are only Event Characters weapons banner, even if u get shafted, it won't hurt as much as the target banner.
My advise is, if you do not plan on getting Karen then definetly don't go for Nanami. She's really dependant on strong fire dps and since we have foresight due to being behind we can already see that a fire dps other than Karen isnt going to be available anytime soon. Saying that 'you will have a fire tank ready' for when the time comes is not good advise considering you only start out with a few structurers and really need to maximize whatever you have.
@@dan_963_ First I'm going to save all my black cards for Alpha, depending on who I get from the newbie banner after that I will decide which team to build first. If I get Kamui Ill start saving a bit for dark watanabe who comes a few patches after release. Whilst doing the newbie banner I'd select A-Liv as the rate up for A rank. If I get her I will use the selector to ger Karen. If I don't then Ill go for S-Liv If I get either nanami or Karen I'll pick the other one from the selector to make the fire team. If I get Lee or Liv from the newbie banner I'll select Kamui from the selector and once again go for dark watanabe. With this I'm pretty much guaranteed to have a strong dark or fire team ready. After that I'll start to save For Bianca and combine her with A-Liv for the lightning team. This is pretty much what I have planned so far. I'll change it depending on whatever I get from the gacha.

Unless resources are not a problem in this game, I think it's important to start planning your teams as soon as you begin. I may be wrong but most gacha mobile games punish you terribly for not planning your teams early & by the time you realise this you don't have enough resources to build a more appropriate team. This is where you either start a new account or just quit the game altogether. Question: Is the game time-consuming? Can someone comfortably run multiple accounts?
You could try multiple accounts though probably not alot. it may take like 30-60 minutes a day if youre planning to use all the 3 tries on Pain cage and do all the other stuff.

Since No.21 is now out you can get her easily to SS/SSS (like me) and then you wont choose Kamui anymore. sure SSS XXI is just on the level on a S/SS Kamui but still better gameplay also waifu = meta

This game is like Honkai Impact you can turn any char even B Rank to SSS meta or tier list do not exist in games like these it's all about skills (timing your dodges and maximizing your damage within a timelock)
Bullshit! You can't turn B rank into SSS tier meta in honkai! Tierlist do exist in honkai. Reach top 100 memorial and retain nirvana abyss in honkai without meta character. Denying meta existence in game that have PVE leaderboard is just retard. PGR has paincage and warzone, which is similar to memorial arena and abyss in honkai. You can't compete in this area without having meta character

You get character shards with which you can promote structurers from S to SS to SSS etc, gives a little statboost and unlocks a minor ability. Generally having a seperate S-Rank altogether is better.

yeah the bad thing as new player dodge cant cancel you attack . is hard to dodge
Nanami can't really be a main damage dealer but she can work until higher levels and can still be a sub-dps.

@@dan_963_ First I'm going to save all my black cards for Alpha, depending on who I get from the newbie banner after that I will decide which team to build first.
If I get Kamui Ill start saving a bit for dark watanabe who comes a few patches after release. Whilst doing the newbie banner I'd select A-Liv as the rate up for A rank. If I get her I will use the selector to ger Karen. If I don't then Ill go for S-Liv
If I get either nanami or Karen I'll pick the other one from the selector to make the fire team.
If I get Lee or Liv from the newbie banner I'll select Kamui from the selector and once again go for dark watanabe.
With this I'm pretty much guaranteed to have a strong dark or fire team ready. After that I'll start to save For Bianca and combine her with A-Liv for the lightning team.
This is pretty much what I have planned so far. I'll change it depending on whatever I get from the gacha.

lmao i didnt know there was such an item that was supposed to give me a free s rank until level 25, i used an s rank liv-lux or lix or smth(shes a healer im p sure) as dps for so long. good thing i checked all the items in my email.😭😭

Just choose the immortal medic Liv :V so smooth since she's range and have a good dps and HEALING (being tanky is a bonus)

Unless resources are not a problem in this game, I think it's important to start planning your teams as soon as you begin. I may be wrong but most gacha mobile games punish you terribly for not planning your teams early & by the time you realise this you don't have enough resources to build a more appropriate team. This is where you either start a new account or just quit the game altogether.
Question: Is the game time-consuming? Can someone comfortably run multiple accounts?
You could try multiple accounts though probably not alot. it may take like 30-60 minutes a day if youre planning to use all the 3 tries on Pain cage and do all the other stuff.

Not gonna lie.. Most of mechanism, mission, side mission, Challenge, weekly challenge, raids,upgrade, etc... 85% pretty similiar with Honkai impact

lol based on his combos Kamui is pretty much a Nero clone, I'll probably try to get him because of that. Although the fact that Bianca has a bow intrigues me. With selective I'm probably gonna pick up either Karenina or Lee based on gameplay.
Among these 2, id say pick Karenina if you plan on getting Alpha. Lee gets overshadowed heavily.

This game is like Honkai Impact you can turn any char even B Rank to SSS meta or tier list do not exist in games like these it's all about skills (timing your dodges and maximizing your damage within a timelock)
Bullshit! You can't turn B rank into SSS tier meta in honkai! Tierlist do exist in honkai. Reach top 100 memorial and retain nirvana abyss in honkai without meta character. Denying meta existence in game that have PVE leaderboard is just retard. PGR has paincage and warzone, which is similar to memorial arena and abyss in honkai. You can't compete in this area without having meta character

Thanks for the guide. A question; you said that if I get kamui not to choose him, does that means dupes in this game dont do much for the character if you already have it? What advantages do dupes give me?
You get character shards with which you can promote structurers from S to SS to SSS etc, gives a little statboost and unlocks a minor ability. Generally having a seperate S-Rank altogether is better.
