Thanks, Jenna! A walk on the beach always does wonders for the soul. The scenes you shot reminded me of my different stays in Washington State on the coast. Loved going for walks right after a storm. Never knew what you were going to find that washed up. I'm glad everything went well at the camper. Nice to know that you're sheltered with all those trees around you. Our winds are forecasted to pick up over night tonight from our tropical storm (that has no name, yet). I think it will be dubbed "Ophelia" if they do give it one. This will be like the third storm named Ophelia that I will have lived through. The first two were Cat 1 storms and I believe I remember that they crawled along like at one or two miles per hour. Ugh! Like a relative that comes to visit and won't leave! Lol! Have a good one! Rob and Layla.
Stay safe in the storm, Rob! Yup, anywhere near water seems to be pretty soul soothing to me!
Glad you came through the storm without any major damage. Stay safe please.
Happy to see you didn't have any major damage
Hi Jenna, reminds me when I spent my summers in a little town of St. Andrews by the Sea, New Brunswick with my grandmother. Miss that little town. Glad you and the Lordships made it through just fine. I bet this is when you're extra glad to have solar. Take care this week.❤🍁😊
During hurricane Ian we want inland 80 miles from west coast of Florida. Still had 74 mph winds ,the storm kept following us . Home was damaged bad and wife's car destroyed. Be safe 😂
Oh no, that's terrible. You get plenty of bad weather down there, be safe!
Glad you didn't have too much trouble with Lee.
good ole white claw hairspray! LOL! cute lil place you have there, especially with the furballs!
Thank you for taking us along on your journey today. Everyone stay safe, happy 😊 and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
Thank you!! Good to see you out and about! A Lobster would have been nice for a meal! I don't remember ever seeing a cat eat a leaf! lol But hey, who am I to judge! Have a good day and be safe!
Great to see! I was thinking about you and the boys when I heard it was in your area!
Thank you for posting Jenna. I was wondering how you were doing with the storm. Happy to see you came out ok, take care.
Loved the views of the water. Living here in Southwest Missouri at our rural home it would have to rain for a month straight to cause us any flooding. The worst it gets here is a very washed out long driveway. Glad you weathered the storm well.
Whoever built that roof over your camper was a genius ! Glad all is well with you in beautiful NS.
Thank you, very glad to have this roof
I was thinking the same. A carport would be nice for winter too.
Glad to see you made out well. We hardly had a storm towards ytown.16:30- Been to that beach a few times, it's a nice one.
Omfg! That spider made me scream lol! Great video❤
They make me scream sometimes too but I like to spot them at a distance haha
Cool home you made for yourself there. Looks cozy.
Hi Jenna 👋 Great to hear you made it through ok 👍 hope you're doing well, stay safe and take care my friend 🙏 Appreciate you!
Good Morning Jenna glad you made it through the storm safe and sound 😀
Thanks for sharing they can get really nasty
Johno Darwin NT 🍺
Thank you 😊
Glad to see you didn’t have it to bad from Lee Jenna.Beautiful scenery on your video. Thanks
So glad to see that you made it through LEE all right! Love your videos
Thank you 😊
Jenna… love it!! Kitty baby was it Ramsey that ate a chip? Freaking ya!!❤️❤️
Yup that was Ramsay lol
Hi Jenna, Yet another enjoyable vlog. You lucked out with the storm , good shade from the trees. It,s great to go to the beach after a storm to see what washes up. Say hi to the furry friends. (A snake and spider my nerves are shot).
You have a great day, too, Jenna!! Glad to see Rory's a Leaf fan!! 🏒😻
😂🤣he's more of a basketball guy
I'm glad you weathered the storm ok. Now, I watched the entire video but I kept thinking back to you having a spider in a Ziploc bag. First it is on the wall next it is in a bag. I understand editing but the fact that you got it in a bag at all is impressive. I can have one a foot away from an open door and naturally it goes any direction but out. But here comes Jenna with some kind of witchcraft or voodoo and Mr Spider walks right into the bag. Kind lady, you are amazing.
It's an interesting process getting the spider in the bag but I needed both hands so the camera hand was occupied, haha
Just left Nova Scotia. Was also there for the storm. We were supposed to be in Yarmouth but decided NS didn’t need any more tourists during the storm. Peggys cove was amazing. What a beautiful province Enjoy your videos immensely!
Thank you , glad you enjoyed your trip 😊
Hey Jenna, not the first hurricane you've experienced in that place Wow scary. At least you have your cats to protect you LOL
This video I liked the most, I love the sea and kayaking.
We deal with hurricanes fairly often here is Alabama, even a piece inland it can get rough… I will say when it came to your indoor visitor… that would have been dead spider walking 😂
Glad things weren't worse and that you came through OK. We get the remnants of some hurricanes sometimes- about like what you got. The trees help block wind but also0 fall sometimes- a mixed blessing but I love them anyway.
Very true!
It's so beautiful where you live .I am so glad that Ramsey and Rory were calm through storm. What was with the snake and spider invasion?
Ahhhh.....White Claws and naps on stormy days! What could be better than that?!?!
It was one way to get me to relax I guess lol
I'm glad to see you got thru this ok.I'm in southern Maine,we got it about the same as you did.Altogether it wasn't really all that bad.I didn't even lose power.
That is great news! Glad to hear Maine wasn't hit too hard ❤
Great video glad storm wasn’t too bad ❤
Hi Jenna, just a suggestion, you could save a ton of money on fuel by running a Honda eu2200i. It should power everything you would need and then some. They are also whisper quiet so you don’t have to listen to the “bag or wrenches” running…lol. 1200 upfront, but save you money and headaches for a nearly a lifetime if you take care of It. Cheers from VT!
Hello GJ nice to see everything is fine on the old homestead , that spider would have had a different ending if that was me. Just curious can you smell the ocean from your place ? I think the wooden lobster trap would make nice lawn art . 7 years ago when the Snow Birds were performing here when they were done they came off the lake low and slow so I stuck my arms out to the sides and waved them up and down (universal sign they saw you on the ground) when they do it to you so I tried it on them and one of them rocked his jet to me I was like a little 55 year old kid cause that was for me and me alone that came to mind when I saw the helo fly by. Sorry for rambling on somethings us old people do.
Cannot smell it from here but the ocean is never far from anywhere you are in NS 😊
Thanks Jenna your yawning just made me yawning. I am liking that cooler Temps your having. OK that spider looks just like the one you took out the other day. Me and spiders do not get along. It would of been in the trash. Great
Yawning is contagious just like smiling I guess, haha. Yeah those spiders are hanging out inside a little too much for my liking! Lol
Days like this makes a good day to stay inside a drink coffee😊
From drought and fires to hurricanes and rain, what a year...
It's been a tough summer for NS
Was watching my favorite weather lady, Jewel, at J7409 on TH-cam, and saw Lee turn North and head toward you. Hope the Gypsy Lady Jenna is doing fine. 82 in Florida today; thinking about you up there in the cold woods. 😎
Not cold...yet! Soon will be haha
The dohoppy eh? Jeepers, watch those technical terms there would ya. Some of us less educated in the ways of solar system maintenance may not be able to follow along 😜. Pretty cool shots of the waves after the storm though, but I would NOT be going out there like those two surfers. No thank you! I'd rather take my chances with the snake lol
Yeah those surfers were brave! Dang, I am just not that strong of a swimmer, haha. There were tons more surfers around the point too!
Hey Jenna glad you made it through ok, question is that snake poisonous plus them spiders seems to be regular visitors now be careful as great content can't wait for the next one
They aren't any poisonous snakes here thankfully!
Proud to be born and raised in Nova Scotia, still much I have not seen here yet ❤❤
It's a beautiful place! 💗
Only last week we had a mini heatwave to flooding everywhere this week. Give it another few Vlogs from you Jenna and we will watching you trying the clear snow again from your solar panels. It must be satisfying to take on the elements.😀
Oh don't remind me, I am not excited for the snow clearing 😆🤣
opps 😁@@gypsyjenna
@bitzclipsmatt214 😆 all good!
Great video glad your SAFE. have to chuckle though. Todays episode was brought to you by the letter S....snake, spider, Slug, Sandals, storms storm chips, solar,,,, lol see you in the next one.
Haha so true. There were a lot of S's in this one including Sh!tty weather 😁
@@gypsyjenna ha ha ha …. I was thinking that to..I forgot sleep and shower. What else did I miss 🤣
Were about to get the tail end of Lee in the UK over the weekend
Stay safe!
There is huge difference between you on East coast and me in the Canadian prairies, even as Canadians 🇨🇦👍
I do appreciate you and your hard work , tbh most of us are not debt free 👍😊
..
What beach were you walking on I am in (Kanata), Ottawa and just came home a couple of weeks ago from visiting my family on the Eastern shore Jeddore and Porters Lake
Ok, how *did* you get that monster into the ziplock??? I am a mason jar and card stock trapping recovering arachnophobe 😂 storms are something else in an RV, you’re almost out in it. Sometimes the “van” is “a-rockin” for all the wrong reasons! Trees scare me, several RV’s on our island have had tree troubles and our firs are 3-5’ diameter. Scary!
Haha pretty wild eh? Yeah I have got the ziploc capture down to a science now lol
What radio is that you were listening to? Looks like a nice unit. Thanks for a great video Jenna!
It's an old shower radio that I have had for years. Waterproof haha
Shallow wells are easy to put in, are there any in your area?
Glad all is good with u and i would say ur one of my favorite TV shows 😁
Give the kitties a pet for me😊
😊 will do, they say "meow meow" which translates to thank you 🙂
😂😂😂😂😂
First off...... I am sooooo glad you made it thru the hurricane without total destruction. Secondly..... how in the bloody heck do you not loose your mind when those spiders pop up?!?! I would be going bonkers sistah!
Thanks T. I do lose my mind (and my voice) when they run across my hand as my tired self is rummaging through the closet at 5am. Haha, I like to spot them from a distance, remove them and hope I never find one in my socks or......any other garment 😂🤣
Glad the storm wasn't too bad at your place. I wonder if that is the same spider you caught before?
If it is, he is determined to get inside! Haha
I'm getting ready to spend my first winter in my Arctic Fox. And I was wondering, is the diesel heater cheaper then the propane furnace, do you find?
I'm glad you made out ok during the storm also. It didn't get as windy here, as they were predicting.
I am not certain about cheaper but I do like to suggest the diesel heaters because it is a dryer heat whereas propane puts a lot if moisture into the air
@@gypsyjenna ohh. Good to know. Thank you.
Nice storm ⛈️ update Jenna. Looks like you and your cats survived! 😲 those trees 🌲 swaying about in the breeze is something to be concerned about, especially being so close to your home. Snakes 🐍 and slugs 🐌 and spiders oh my! 🤭 they’re all YOUR neighbors! 😏 but that spider 🕷️ might owe you some rent, unless it ate some bugs, doing you a favor. Good to see you merely capture it and release it outside, where it just might eat an extra mosquito 🦟 or 2. Most snakes are good to have around, to keep the vermin (mice, etc) down/away. How did your squirrel 🐿️ do during the winds and rain? Maybe a couple peanuts for it? Anyway, good to see your video. Be safe, get ready for WINTER, and restock the firewood while you can.
Mr. Squirrel is still around torturing me by running along my roof or chewing through insulation under the floor lol.
Snakes, spider's and slugs oh my😊
I don't believe I've ever seen that look on Ramsey's face before, haha. P.S. I'm so glad you don't harm the bugs and snakes!
Hey Jenna baker again so have you looked into a just looking @ some Portable Diesel heaters price on them not to bad @ all maybe have a look they work great😊
Keep you warm
I do have a diesel heater, thanks
Yes I seen that video just after I posted it 😊
Glad it didn't get totally nasty up there.
Thanks, me too!
Ever thought about getting a wind powered generator to charge up the batteries when there’s insufficient sunlight for the solar panels?
I have thought about it yes
I think I would be better with the spider than snake, of course the most frightening is the slug. Oh, I forgot about Mr H. Something about an earlier vid I wanted to ask, how do you keep the diesel flowing to your heater when it is very cold outside? Thanks, and good job on this video, glad you weathered the storm
Thanks, I have something called a pocket pump or something like that. It's hooked onto the diesel fuel can and just fill it up with that
ty, do you have to add any kind of chemicals to the diesel or is it just regular from the gas station diesel? I'm thinking you get colder than I do even tho Im at 6000 feet in the Colorado Rockies. Its going to be an interesting winter for me, lol thank you for letting me pick your brain@@gypsyjenna
@garegardner6782 I don't add anything at all and so far hasn't been a problem for me. I just been getting gas station diesel, yep. Good luck to you this winter! 😊
🙏❤
🆒 VIDEO CUTE JENNA!!!
How the hell did u get it in the bag. I would have moved😢
I'm curious if that temperature thing you have is battery operated. Also, do you have a link for it?
It is battery operated yes. Sorry I don't have a link. It was purchased at Canadian Tire
Is that a dead pine behind your trailer? That would be concerning if it is….
Boonedockin Xtreme keep the faith lub to meet you.
What kind of snake was that? Thank you for the video!
Northern red belly
Thank you for the reply jenna!@@gypsyjenna
Was that a brown recluse spider?!
Nope, it's a wolf spider
Jenna.?Where are you? I hope you're all right.
I'm okay, thanks! New video up now 😁
What kind snake and spider are they?
That is a Northern Red Belly Snake and the spider is a Brown Woods Spider 😉👍
wait untill he barfes it up! lol
Probably on the bed! 😂🤣
