    In this episode we explore an abandoned religious boarding school that appeared to have a focus on the arts. Sheet music, pieces of instruments, film, and religious documents were scattered throughout the building.

    11:16 I'm pretty sure this is a reference to the vision of Ezekiel:
    Ezekiel 1:5
    Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. 6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings. ... 10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

      Also randomly the four heads are also found on the corners on The World in the Tarot decks too, which is why is fascinated me when I read what you wrote as that’s where I knew these four faces were of the same description. So loosely linked even though Tarot is not religious per se.

    Very interesting example of 1960's architecture, but the portion of the wine cellar with the arched vaulted ceiling looked much older. The well designed formal interiors remind me a lot of the sanctuary in the church I go to, which was built in 1968.

      I know there's that big debate whether graffiti is art or not. However, I think if it's not your property you shouldn't be painting on it.

      @@SRay-or3nc Property is for people, if a property is abandoned then the "owner" has, in my mind, given up the right to govern it's use. It falls back into the common, so if people without a "legitimate" way to express themselves find a new use for an abandoned space, I don't see the harm.

    • @SRay-or3nc
      @SRay-or3nc 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pyramidschema8668 I guess it depends on where the graffiti is going. I have seen some in abandoned malls and that seems an appropriate place. There are lots of wide open spaces, wall room and so forth.
