When you're walking, your body receives a greater amount of oxygen, which increases your focus and allows you to concentrate much better. I use a treadmill while working, and I feel like I have greater focus when I'm walking. It's interesting that you mention you read better while walking-I'll definitely give it a try!

Super helpful video! You mentioned the belt dimensions and height. How tall are you? I'm 6'2" and wanted to make sure the one I purchase feels wide and long enough...

Hey! I'm 6'0" and haven't had any issues with the length while walking. Haven't done much running on it, so couldn't speak to that.

Do you have a link to the desk?

Great video! What kind of bible is that? It looks really nice.

It's the Hendrickson's ESV Minister's Bible in calfskin. Unfortunately, they don't make them anymore :(

How deep is your standing desk (front to back)? I have considered getting a treadmill but I worry that my standing desk is too shallow for me to stand close enough on the treadmill to be close enough to the keyboard.

My desk is 24" deep. But the treadmill only goes under about half of that. I'd say about 6" from the front of the desk to where the actual tread part of the treadmill starts (there's the screen and other stuff behind that, you have to account for of course, but that varies by model). I found that it doesn't have to go very far under the desk because when walking on a treadmill, your front foot doesn't extend very far with each new step because you are simultaneously being pulled backward at the same time-if that makes sense.
