😂 Another brilliant example of a true classic British comedy series. Wonderful writing and great acting by both the main cast ,and character actors in support roles......................😅.
@@FactsVerseUK the late actor's name is Nigel Hawthorne not Edward Dewsbury, he played Sir Humphrey, in both Yes Minister and the sequel Yes Prime Minister, also he played a villain in the 1993 Sly Stone and Wesley Snipes film Demolition Man,
The world is a far poorer place without this magnificent cast.
Derek Fowlds was one of those fortunate actors, who ALWAYS looked much younger than he was. Hearing of his death was quite surprising , and sad.
Sir Humphrey is my favorite, his performance in The Madness of King George and King Lear was magnificent.

Sir Nigel Hawthorne and Paul Eddington were great, but Derek Fowlds made the show great. He had some of the best "throwaway" lines ever.
I recgnise Edward Jeswsbury, as shown in the last slide of him, BUT he wasn't in any of the previous pics, and I don't recall him in yes Minister.
rip john.
Apart from derek the main cast died relatively young-68,72 and 72.
Whitch years was the show broadcast?
@Kurt Larssom Yes Minister was broadcast from 1980-84 and Yes Prime Minister from 1986-1988.
