Had a long flight home to visit my parents. Been listening to "Velvet Dawn" while walking my home town during the sunrise and sunset. That was an indescribable experience: the album is definitely the only one of it's kind: on the edge of Clan of Xymox, Depeche Mode, Darkjazz Ensemble, Bohren & Der Club of Gore, Perturbator's vocal tracks, all of that mixed with coldwave/darkwave and whatever wave you could think of with nice touches of sax, reverb guitars and slow synth and percussions. And the vocals and the lyrics. I've never had such an experience before. Cult classic material. Really wish that the album would be an easy find - a lot of people will need that. I am sure it was born under the influence of last events, where the world became so distant, cold, where it's so hard to find anything tangible and true, where the love and lovers became separated by now impenetrable distances. When you find yourself in the middle of this world, plug in your headphones and find "Velvet Dawn".
This music makes me wanna come back to the times I was listening to The Cure, Type o Negative, Clan of Xymox and a lot of that kind of music. Pure nostalgia 🖤
perhaps this is one of the most beautiful works in recent times. A work of art is the entire album, from the cover to the sound. For some reason, the sound gives away for some reason to the Swedish band Tiamat (They had releases with a low voice and decent instrumental) But this album and its sound are perfect. The music is very beautiful. You know, you can even sit down in the evening and watch the sunset, drinking wine, listening to Blue Sick. The song smacks of fatigue, lightness and happiness after finishing work, it really raises the motivation to work further on your dream, really. We dead hearts smacks more of sadness, despondency, but after switching to the "other" part (sorry, I'm illiterate in music) there is some kind of ray of happiness that, on the contrary, washes away all the melancholy and makes you think that everything you do is not in vain. I liked the rest of the songs too, but I'm not going to paint them, I painted those songs that really touched me very much. ruIn of Romantics, thank you very much for this album. This is probably the best thing I've heard new in a year. Really, thank you.
