    "जो नहीं मिलता वही हमे दौड़ायेंगा, क्युकी अगर सब मिल जायेगा तो दौड़ किस बात की है " - This has stayed with me since I had scene this talk by Shradha Sharma a few years back.

I am from Madhubani Bihar, and every place I visit and every time I speak, I made it a point to say it loud and clear that I am BIHARI. it is not out of revenge but to stand with our people and people of country side of the entire India who look like Bihari. Yes Bihari is not about state it is about all bad things that has been ascribed to this word.
This is to put forth to everyone and to you madam, you rightly reminded yourself and still found this conviction so also being a lady( yes it also matters) that you may be lacking because you are a bihari and that will make you run.
Kindly make it a point to tell this world whereever you are that you are a BIHARI and are not ashamed of being a bihari. Regards. PS- I am not against anyone but not feeling bad to be a bihari either. Kindly understand it............. is possible.

I am not sure if it exactly happens in India in modern days and also modern VC world. Go back to home and come back again to show what it is and how it is, again and again. From this point of view and knowledge from NA, the investors would not give time or be entertained with 'I have an idea' to the question 'where is the traction', and then 'where is the revenue'... etc. It is waste of their time as well as your effort and time. The investors look in the business idea, how it can change the world (ie, social value, economic difference, business objectives, etc), how it is feasible, and who is the driver (the founder), and importantly how strong s/he is and how determined s/he is. Because, you (entrepreneur) cannot and don't expect the investor (who could be an angel investor or a big VC funder) to understand your mumbo jumbo lingo (ie, tech or buzz worded language) data analytics, AI, etc, etc fancy advanced techie language. What they expect you is to show the idea and paint a picture clearly with what it is and how it is in a simple language they can understand and raises their interest to invest. Say, for example, I have created a drone which flies around a khet (ie, a farmland) and shows where a patch of land is so dry and needs water, or some pest infested a patch, or some patch needs extra fertiliser, or something like that where one can not go to take action and revert the possible damage. So the drone flies around and gathers some data/statistics and shows you a better view of what is needed and how. If I explain them how the drone or AI technology, how the background server works and front end draws a nice graphical view, etc, the investor is already lost within 5 minutes as they dont know what you are speaking about. Rather, paint a picture in a simple terminology with simple examples (such as an MVP (minimum viable), product demo, presentable video, etc) and present a visual of what it is and how it is in an easily understandable language that raises their interest to listen to you more and invest in the idea or product. For my example, it could be, how the drone tech or product helps farms to survey around, take actions to prevent any damage, and finally with good outcome from harvested crop, etc. It has a social impact, implementable business idea, potential profit, etc etc. This does not need investor to have a very good understanding of the AI or drone or robotic tech, etc. Showing a prototype or something easily understandable presentation would suffice. It would give the investor a better idea of your vision, business idea and potential growth, profit numbers, etc.
This is what an entrepreneur should be prepared to and go after the investors. Remember, everyone has an idea that could also be copied, but how is implemented and is operational to be productive and profitable is what make the difference for any investment. For example, there are multiple tea stalls or cafes in a street, but you are pulled to one specific one preferably. Why? ambience, customer service, or the taste you would love to enjoy, correct?!. So, the magic is in the the coffee maker, the chef or barista, and how it is served to you to your enjoyable experience. That is what it pulled you to the cafe but not another copycat cafe next door. Hope you understand the point. Hence the investors always look for a motivated and driven (I say, be stubborn like a stupid) entrepreneur with strong results. Not just an idea or have some imaginary world to accomplish.
Even in India, the current modern VC world looks for this. It is not just like, I dont have a job but I have a business idea, and go back again because the wife asked you what the heck are you doing and why are you not working, etc questions. Nobody would care. Their time is precious and don't want to waste their time nor yours. Remember 90-second elevator pitch rule in North America, why they say, you should have such a pitch to present the idea.
And, let me add a few more. If your wife (if married) or parents (not yet married) are strongly against your business vision or entrepreneurial ambitions, then you lost your major strength at the foundation level. Meaning, they already punched a hole in your inspiration sack and kept opened the exit to escape door for you to exit anytime. Then how I can trust you will not give up anytime and my invested money never returns. Got the point? If your wife let you pay attention and dedication your business idea or entrepreneurial ambition deserves without any family related hurdles, then you are motivated and on track to entrepreneurial success.
And, another thing, dont go for a VC when you dont need money unless you are looking for a strategic partner for marketing, scaling, etc. Venture capital costs your business idea (your brainchild), ownership and more, it is not cheap. Be a thoughtful businessman first.
    Good luck :)
