- Hello... a right old rambling of me trying to get across various things and actually looking back on it not playing you very much music er... anyway...I mostly re-visited Tidal and I absolutely love it now. Swoon sneak peak.. and whizzy BBD thing... I did a lot more than that.. but yeah. Got the beginnings of a new track down. It's gonna be all a cappella (apart from a few birds and possible fire cracklings). Listen to Mic Check for reference on type of vocal sounds... this is super rough, thrown down in a couple of hours. Now lyrics to write... couldn't sleep last night and so sat up laptop on duvet cover and typed some bits. Something about being in the moment. What it takes to get there. What sets it up. Pain, water, a kiss, longing... threading something together and hopefully get that down so I can play you more before long.

Twitter related : Going to release those vocal files for whoever wants to put music to it too by 12th Feb as something for Twestival. It was a song Idea I came up with for an animation that never happened... music was going to be done by someone else... but now that person is you! The song that never was... but will once some of you have a go of it.
Mostly feeling good about stuffl... you know how it goes though...after the big highs come the big old lows. life would be pretty dull without these waves though eh?

One of the few truly underrated musical geniuses of our times. Something so nice looking back at pre 2010 music and seeing that Imogen happened to the music world.
Imogen Heap is so immensely talented: songwriter, vocalist, keyboardist and engineer. And she occurs to me to be such a dear and lovely person. Good luck with finishing the latest record. We're all breathless with anticipation!
I've listened to a lot of Imogen's songs, but had no idea she was British! The things you stumble upon when you should be doing homework...

I am continually amazed at how you go about making this soundtrack. I'll be in London in the summer, and if there was any chance, I'd probably buy the CD there, just to say that that is where it's from. Wow ..great sounds. Imi, hearing your schedule reminds me of James Clerk Maxwell biography I read once. When he attended Trinity College, Cambridge, he would often run up and down the stairs and hallways and stay up to all hours and change his body's natural sleep tendencies to stimulate new creative thought patterns. Way ahead of his time in many ways. If he were alive today, he'd surely be vlogging on TH-cam and teaching some electromagnetic field theory and enjoying music.

I like what I hear in the background of Tidal during the drum excerpt which I associate as some kind of "spiritual, higher-vibe, celestial, rarefied, reverberation magic-ness background sound"...it makes me think how you might be able to use your music as a vehicle for imparting some much needed higher vibration (love, joy, peace) into the world at this urgent juncture in human evolution.

OH WOW!!!! Omg, Immi-- I never use this phrase, since I'm American, but I must say "BRILLIANT!" to the Indian flair in Polyfilla!!! Absolute brilliance. It gave me a bit of chills from just that snippet... the whole track is going to be magical.

Ha ha But then a few days later, I remembered that the British call American cookies "biscuits."So I looked it up on Wikipedia to double-check and it said you call American "cookie jars" "biscuit tins/jars."Anyway, it's so fun looking at these blogs and seeing it all come together Congrats!
