So the thing is his wife runs the video editing agency and Aevy Tv, Even though he is not part of it he can't directly criticize it. And as for video editor and coder replacement I also think ai will replace normal freshers coders in some months not sure about video editors though.
Don't be hesitant bro, say it. Software development is one of the highest paid job in todays time and if you notice only BUSINESSMEN are not valuing it. Do you know why? They want to save cost. So everyone don't fall for selfish BUSINESSMEN giving illogical statements for it. Top techies know their worth and the worth of software development
I also don't undertand how in that same video, video editor was ranked higher than dev roles. Most CEOs and businesses don't think of the video editors in house any different than the devs as an Operational cost. Except that tech businesses live and breathe by how well n fast they can push top quality products(which is halfway code anyway).
CEO's like varun dosen't work with all the people in tier C group which he placed because he don't even know the tip of those skills that's why they can never understand how much valueable those roles are for the company. And said so his company is also going to die soon if he dosen't changes his openion.
Thanks TH-cam Algorithm for bringing up this Video, Varun Maya videos were really giving great insights at start of this AI boom but as the narrator mentioned, Varun current contents is giving me trips of FOMO, low confidence, taking towards dilemma that my 6 years Frontend development experience is going to be soon making no scenes in market and probably in next recession bump i will be out forever. Thats was really state of mind. At start I need to cope in with all this but its not possible to bring all those AI tools mentioned in one plate and digest them with no time deadlines.
Bigger part of the problem is so many people commenting on Varun’s videos like “oh thanks a lot for sharing this” “oh wonderful Varun” “Thanks for sharing, keep posting” I mean what kind of people are they? Sadistic? Varun shares the most negative and irrelevant info. Whatever tool people need to work, they already have(they just need to use it better) this Mayya guy does not need to tell them.

I don’t think the same; I’m on Varun’s side. The thing is, being a full-stack developer is considered C-tier this year, and the reason isn’t supply and demand. It’s the gap between expectations and reality. After COVID, full-stack developers were hired in excess due to the bull run, and now students’ expectations aren’t matching the market. By the way, I love making websites.
I used to like varun mayya's content at first. Even before LLMs/chatgpt were a thing, I first got to know about Chatgpt's existence from his channel when chatgpt was in beta. As a budding SDE myself I like to learn code and solve problems myself but when someone just comes in and says "hey you can't do this (or stop learning this) as AI does it better than you do" - that is to me is just simple disrespect. I like to believe in the fact that we are humans who created this so called AI, so rather just hating it or fear-mongering people that it will kill jobs lets learn it and use it as a tool to solve bigger and better problems efficiently. This is very common with every revolution or new invention, but we can't just lose hope and be pessimistic about it.

I disagree with some points about integrating AI in our tools. We integrated AI in our app last year and it boosted our customers productivity. Here are some reasons why integrating LLM into our product was useful - It gave our customers more power - we already manage lot of incoming data/servers it would be difficult for GPT to get into our domain without shifting their focus from LLM development - We are not just a proxy API of GPT, we integrated LLM on an existing well established product. - We also manage RAG for our application so not everything is controlled by GPT or other LLMs, we handle the RAG ourselves. For debugging AI prompts there are various tools for prompt engineering now a days. Its new and not everyone fully has strategies to manage LLMs. But saying that companies shouldn't integrate LLMs because its not same as traditional methods seems like gatekeeping in my opinion.
My take before watching: Varun, just like most of the creators, that uploads anything to keep the channel alive. He shouldn't be considered for opinions but for news.
I've come across this Varun Mayya guy's content on Twitter and TH-cam many times and the opinions shared are sometimes tone deaf and heavily exaggerated. And this is not a comment aimed to dent the guy's expertise in his domain or his previous work experience. Just that the content simply comes across as fear mongering. Whilst i wholeheartedly agree with his general idea that people should have an entrepreneurial minset in the future to stay relevant, that does not mean jobs as we know today are going to vaporize in the next 5 years or something because "AGI" is about to arrive. I get that content needs to engage and sell but the manner in which he does it feels extremely clickbaity as well as being disrespectful to the people in the professions he's "predicting" would be wiped away. Nobody, not even the most intelligent people researching the implications of AI can say for certain what's going to happen in the next 5 years or beyond. The UBI he refers to as a solution, you could argue, is something that not even half the population on this planet would willingly say yes to at first. Also, for someone who has been in this industry for so long, I don't know if he's blissfully unaware or simply ignoring how long it takes for any new technology to have large scale adoption across the tech industry, enough to affect business solutions. If you don't see what I'm getting at, try watching his content once again. Its very subliminal at times but from the tone it's very clear. If you're genuinely interested in software development, there are much better content creators out there who share extremely relevant and reliable information without killing your hopes and ambitions. Because there are better ways to keep people informed instead of shoving AI slop down the throats. Question everything and arrive at logical conclusions yourself folks. Strive to be the best you can be in your domain but be adaptive and don't be afraid to pivot. Peace !
Not really u have misunderstood him his rating was purely based on demand and supply and he clearly mentions if ur good fill stack then u will get job regardless but for sales being mediocre u can still get a job bcs for every. Single full stack developer a company needs 10 sales person as they r the backbone of a company so u need fullstack developer but not that many
@@SidTheITGuy then pls rewatch again his criteria was purely based on supply and demand and mark my word even ai/ml will be in c tier in the next 5-6 years and I am telling this myself being a data scientist
@@SidTheITGuy see ur missing the point let me rephrase it very clearly no job is big or small and i adhere to u but wht ur not understanding is u having a job and ur wage increasing depends on supply and demand and based on that he placing full stack is correct and within next 5-6 years even ai/ml will come to c unless ur very good at wht u do same thing cannot be said to other professions if ur a mediocre sweeper or toilet cleaner u will still find a job easily u see the difference demand and supply bcs there are less sweepers and toilet cleaners atleast from retaining the job point of view

Try using the O1 models, o1 preview and o1 mini which use COT (reasoning based llms) which have impressed Terrence Tao himself O1 prime model is yet to come so it's only rising exponentially . AI skeptics would really have no place in the future

Man just be straightforward. No drama. This Varun’s idea about software development is total shit. Seems like the is good with market but do not have any real knowledge about tech. This guy reminds me of a German WireCard ceo who makes such high talks but knows nothing
11:05 Bro speaking fax, AI is just a tool, AI overhype is not that real in my opinion because even if AI cuts off some jobs new jobs will be there for prompt engineering, and just any job from a single CEO perspective into different tiers feel a bit wrong. W content Sid. Also the time AI replacing humans for coding jobs is far far far far away, try doing a simple 100 line python or rust project with the help of any AI llm for say chatgpt, bet it won't work without human review, modification or complete remake

I would have never comment but looking into this video and i tell man this varun mayya is con artist he just want to be relevant man sometime ... He is such a bad person i tell you
This is a very good based video. Me like 69 times. ☺ :) But not related to this video, well...partly...; Well "I think" we are right now in an AI bubble, like everything has to be named AI before or after the product name, like for example the recent "Ryzen AI" chips, bro....what AI is in that chip, it has a separate processor called NPU but thats not AI itself. It feels like thats how the funding works in the recent market, that you have to put the buzword to get $$$. I recognize real use case scenario of AI, like drawing in-between frames of an animation, dubbing to another language with proper lip-sync, upscaler, general auto-complete and more but calling your regrigerator AI enabled (now they are slowly dropping the "Smart" word) just shows the legitemacy of "AI bubble" and its kinda protected by the investors.
Internet of bugs which you respect himself admitted that o1 was able to solve and code like junior software engineer . AI will only get better day by day . there is no denying this
I think you missed the point of that Internet of Bugs video. There's a big caveat there that he mentions. The conclusion he arrives at is extremely sensible, relevant and is nowhere near being clickbaity or job dooming as with Varun Mayya. Job requirements will look different. He never says juniors are doomed forever.
Hot takes without disrespectful comments is truly a skill most creators lack! Love this video!

Expand, Broaden Your Skills: Knowledge of backend development is not sufficient on its own. Learn to develop user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with UI libraries like React or Angular. I am currently using React.js.
DIY, Build Practical Projects: Create something you can use in your daily life. For example, I built an app for my daughter to prepare for math Olympiad in a fun way. Kids often dislike boring books, and she enjoys studying through my app! This approach helps me create more realistic applications. Rather than having someone else dictate my work, I can design a product and present it to the company's CTO or product team. Most often, they accept it and provide me with more freedom to build without being micromanaged.
Quality, Build Your Brand: Strive to deliver the best quality output within the given timeframe. Respect deadlines, whatever it takes. I worked through the entire Diwali holiday and this weekend to ensure we released our software before the U.S. Christmas holidays.I work from home office, so I was able to give enough time to my family as well.
Thanks
How is a UI/UX designer above a full stack 💀
Because they need a Mac to edit images 😂
Loved the idea!!
this was needed!
I disagree with some points about integrating AI in our tools. We integrated AI in our app last year and it boosted our customers productivity. Here are some reasons why integrating LLM into our product was useful
- It gave our customers more power
- we already manage lot of incoming data/servers it would be difficult for GPT to get into our domain without shifting their focus from LLM development
- We are not just a proxy API of GPT, we integrated LLM on an existing well established product.
Great video loved it ❤
I pray for his viewers who are scared because of his shitty takes to sell his course, thanks for talking about this!
Single full stack developer a company needs 10 sales person as they r the backbone of a company so u need fullstack developer but not that many
no i haven't misunderstood it. I've watched the video over 6 times
@@SidTheITGuy then pls rewatch again his criteria was purely based on supply and demand and mark my word even ai/ml will be in c tier in the next 5-6 years and I am telling this myself being a data scientist
@debojitmandal8670 ur a good data scientist but you're a classist without even realising it.
🥲tbh bhai jis hisab se ai development chlra hai omni version aagya figure 01, optimus, ab dar lagra hai 2025 se college jana hai 3-4 saal ke baad job hi nhi bachi to ghar valo ka kya hoga
@ashvithshetty1879 ai is terrible in coding and other works 'right now', and tell me which new jobs ai will create?? I am sure you just believed the statement that ai will create 91 million new jobs..... Compare today's models from 2022 gpt
AI is unable to solve my complex problems even it is claude!
Try using the O1 models, o1 preview and o1 mini which use COT (reasoning based llms) which have impressed Terrence Tao himself O1 prime model is yet to come so it's only rising exponentially . AI skeptics would really have no place in the future
@ for complex problems, even o1 failed to solve it, lets see the future models works it
btw i am not skeptical about AI at all, for simpler problems, it saves my time
Even you know about that legal notice that zassar got from indus devs?(I mean he is small youtuber and got so many haters on him , do you like his content?)
yeah ofc i know him. Hidden Influencers is the name. he faced termination threats some time ago. but it's fine now.
I've been through my own share of legal troubles bro 😞
Man just be straightforward. No drama. This Varun’s idea about software development is total shit. Seems like the is good with market but do not have any real knowledge about tech. This guy reminds me of a German WireCard ceo who makes such high talks but knows nothing
First argument is stupid. Don't discuss ideas because it will hurt people! 😅
watch the entire thing and then come to comment bro
The framing and choice of words used is just so good, no hate, closely getting away from legwl stuff, 😂😂
yeah i just hate legal anything. I made sure to not make it look like I hate him or something lmaoo

Bro speaking fax, AI is just a tool, AI overhype is not that real in my opinion because even if AI cuts off some jobs new jobs will be there for prompt engineering, and just any job from a single CEO perspective into different tiers feel a bit wrong.
W content Sid. Also the time AI replacing humans for coding jobs is far far far far away, try doing a simple 100 line python or rust project with the help of any AI llm for say chatgpt, bet it won't work without human review, modification or complete remake
Sir can you please make a community of like minded people and helpful nature , those who can refer freshers like me who have 0 corporate experince and is not getting shortlisted anywhere (dont know why), even people with hardly 1 year exp. Can help us
I have a Discord community bro...
News chamnel hai bhai wo, uske content ki koi jat nahi hoti😂😂
You don't know it's not Varun.... it's papa ocus [Varun is just a puppet] the main string are pull by papaocus
I don't understand, what?
explain kar bhai, bataega nahi to pata kaise chalega?
@@3x10.8_ms i guess he is trying to say is that the script and way the of the video to be presented is handled by papaocus.
There channel is based on fomo they trying to create a fomo of being left out not knowing the information all they provide is just information
random informations all they are trying to get attention
That's alright but what's papaocus?
Man i really wanna work with you i can't imagine how much i can learn from you if i work with you professionally.
I am glad that you think of me that way. Thanks so much for the appreciation 😄
You can technically work with me bro. Reach out to me on Discord
great video also what ROG model is that 🥸
That's an Asus ROG Strix G17 laptop.
Plz write description properly to get better reach
Nah bro descriptions don't play a role in reach
sid, i know u are reacting to other people and other things but i am wating for you make ur own unique content for people and students like me who watch u
things like good books on programming etc etc
I get it bro. This is why I do livestreams so you can ask these questions one on one to me. You can join tomorrow 12 afternoon and let's discuss it then! What do you say?
@SidTheITGuy would be cool
i agree but you kinda look like morty. a smart but good one
😭😭😭🙏🏼🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I would have never comment but looking into this video and i tell man this varun mayya is con artist he just want to be relevant man sometime ... He is such a bad person i tell you
Cool 😎
Bro eat the guy for breakfast :D
This is a very good based video. Me like 69 times. ☺ :)
But not related to this video, well...partly...; Well "I think" we are right now in an AI bubble, like everything has to be named AI before or after the product name, like for example the recent "Ryzen AI" chips, bro....what AI is in that chip, it has a separate processor called NPU but thats not AI itself.
But I never mentioned Internet of bugs in any context??
❤
Let's see what hv u cooked
Do you need an editor?
I'm broke bro, can't afford it 😭😭
The tierlist is on the basis on how easy it is for a "fresher" to get a job in that particular role, just for context.
wrong. it's supply demand basis. watch the original video he does say that
@@SidTheITGuy Yes and according to the video supply and demand are the factors which decide how easy or difficult is to get a job for Freshers.

Make a video reaction of aman s lastest video
