It makes me feel sad that you get negative comments because you are the most caring person. You always make sure everyone feels wanted in this community and that even your low points have a positive spin on them. I just do not understand what people have to be negative about. I think it would be unrealistic to expect everyone to be supportive and always positive when I’m posting on a public forum. Maybe that’s just the negative Nancy in me 😂 it’s OK! If I couldn’t handle the negativities, I wouldn’t do this. Luckily, the positive comments far far outweigh the negative. I don’t know how I get so lucky to get a lot of supportive comments, but that helps a lot.😊

hi! i love cleaning and motivational videos because i’m a young college student who struggles with depression. although i don’t have kids, i appreciate the snack system you have going on, my mom did something similar with my siblings and I growing up. it helped us develop a positive relationship with food and not feel guilty for feeling hungry in-between meals. love ur videos and a new fan!
I think it’s such a good idea to pack the lunch boxes for the twins! They will be used to opening their lunch by themselves which is super helpful for the teachers that have lunch duty when they start kindergarten!

Yes! I’ve been doing lunch stations for years and it helps soooo much!! They aren’t overwhelmed on what to pick, less stress in the morning or night when packing a lunch, it even helps me choose a snack most of the time. And yes it gives them control and they crave that. Giving them control teaches them decision making, helps with behavioral issues, and they understand what a healthy meal looks like. Win win win!!
"It's a marathon not a sprint" I had to remind myself of that the other day. (This is coming from a first time mom) Before I had my daughter I would get all my cleaning done first thing in the morning and I loved that. Now my daughter is 1 and on the move constantly and I'm finding it so hard to get things done. When she's awake I don't want to spend all my time cleaning, I want to spend time with her and come on we all know it's not easy cleaning with a 1 yr old running around either. So I've been trying to my cleaning during nap time. I was feeling so overwhelmed because what I used to get done in an hour or so is now taking the whole day and sometimes the next day but I remembered what you said about it not being a sprint and it really helped me so thank you for your word of encouragement ☺️ 🙏❤
That’s great that you can recognize this! I know this is true and it’s still hard for me. Most days I’m not able to get stuff done or everything done that I wanted to and I have to tell myself that it’s OK. Some days it bothers me more than others but it’s still a work in progress and I try to remind myself of this often.often

Avery, I am so happy that you enjoy school! I remember being in 3rd grade and I have always enjoyed learning, having pretty pencils and pens, and the smell of new crayons and new shoes. I have been out of school a long time and I miss it a lot. I am now 70 years old and I love talking to children of all ages about their school, books, subjects they like best, and their teachers.

Jamie, this is the first time that I ever comment on your video even though I watch every single one of them for, I think, 1.5 years. I am currently going through a daycare adaptation with my 2 year old daughter and it’s not going great. I was trying to sort out my emotions, everybody (friends and family) has some opinions and advices of course, but you said something that stuck with me - I just want my kid to be happy. That’s why I’m so bummed when she cries even though I’m excited for her to socialize and all of that. It breaks my heart because I want her to be happy, not because I’m weak or a bad parent. So thank you for making me realize that. And thank you for saying that I got this. I know you say that a lot but this time - it meant a lot for me. ❤

Happy Sunday Jamie (Monday morning in Australia) My low point for the week has been, no washing machine. My 4 month old brand new one went kabang on me 2 weeks ago. There's now no stock in warehouse til mid Sept. This compiled with migraines for the last 3 weeks and then I come down with the flu. High point, I managed to organise a store exchange for said machine. Finally have a new machine that I'm blown away by. Time to start spring cleaning. Hope you all have a wonderful week! I'm behind on my videos, but I'm here! lol I'm grateful that the back to school kit was still available, I placed my first order! I'm so glad your daughter is thriving at school! We, unfortunately, live in an area where the schools are horrible. We have chosen to homeschool, probably for the entirety of the rest of their education. That way, the interactions they have with other kids and subjects are more within our control, and we can use them as better teachable moments! Hopefully, any of that makes sense. It's been a DAY. 😂😭😂❤️

Loved this video, as always! :) another tip for the homemade uncrustable scraps-make French toast casserole! I put all of the crusts in a freezer ziploc bag and when it’s full, I do a rough chop through the crusts to make them all bite-size, pour in a 9x13 baking dish, and cover with a French toast mixture of milk/eggs/vanilla/cinnamon. Then bake! :) so yummy!
We had a leak back around the end of ‘99, 9 months in a new home build from our master shower into corner in our kitchen, here the plumber didn’t tighten the nut on the drain, so ceiling cut out and we got our own reputatable plumber to fix. Such a PITA. 😊 HAVE A NICE WEEK.

Jan packed with motivation. I’m homeschooling (virtual) all three kiddos from our district this year. They changed the program and it’s so frustrating lol! I’m about ready to pull them and traditional homeschool which I was going to do. But the two youngest got spots (oldest has done it for a year and half because of health issues). Got most of my house clean before taking my nephew overnight one day this week and now I’m tidying up and refreshing lol

Avery, I am so happy that you enjoy school! I remember being in 3rd grade and I have always enjoyed learning, having pretty pencils and pens, and the smell of new crayons and new shoes. I have been out of school a long time and I miss it a lot. I am now 70 years old and I love talking to children of all ages about their school, books, subjects they like best, and their teachers.

Jamie, this is the first time that I ever comment on your video even though I watch every single one of them for, I think, 1.5 years.
I am currently going through a daycare adaptation with my 2 year old daughter and it’s not going great. I was trying to sort out my emotions, everybody (friends and family) has some opinions and advices of course, but you said something that stuck with me - I just want my kid to be happy. That’s why I’m so bummed when she cries even though I’m excited for her to socialize and all of that. It breaks my heart because I want her to be happy, not because I’m weak or a bad parent. So thank you for making me realize that. And thank you for saying that I got this. I know you say that a lot but this time - it meant a lot for me. ❤

Hi Jaime! It’s sheets and towels day at my house today. I got some Aunt Fannie’s carpet refresh that I’m using on my mattress. I’m excited to see if it works well! We had a rough week last week too. My oldest had the flu that totally knocked him out. We’re getting back into the groove this week though. I love your videos and having them on in the background while I clean. My low point for the week has been, no washing machine. My 4 month old brand new one went kabang on me 2 weeks ago. There's now no stock in warehouse til mid Sept. This compiled with migraines for the last 3 weeks and then I come down with the flu.
High point, I managed to organise a store exchange for said machine. Finally have a new machine that I'm blown away by.

I'm so glad your daughter is thriving at school! We, unfortunately, live in an area where the schools are horrible. We have chosen to homeschool, probably for the entirety of the rest of their education. That way, the interactions they have with other kids and subjects are more within our control, and we can use them as better teachable moments!
Hopefully, any of that makes sense. It's been a DAY. 😂😭😂❤️
Great video Jamie I enjoyed it! Love the whole house cleaning ones, especially when you add in a little organizing area/task. We start school on Wed this week, half a day. Then full days to Friday, let's everyone ease back in, fix sleeping schedules and routines.

Loved this video, as always! :) another tip for the homemade uncrustable scraps-make French toast casserole! I put all of the crusts in a freezer ziploc bag and when it’s full, I do a rough chop through the crusts to make them all bite-size, pour in a 9x13 baking dish, and cover with a French toast mixture of milk/eggs/vanilla/cinnamon. Then bake! :) so yummy!

We had a leak back around the end of ‘99, 9 months in a new home build from our master shower into corner in our kitchen, here the plumber didn’t tighten the nut on the drain, so ceiling cut out and we got our own reputatable plumber to fix. Such a PITA. 😊 HAVE A NICE WEEK.

Jan packed with motivation. I’m homeschooling (virtual) all three kiddos from our district this year. They changed the program and it’s so frustrating lol! I’m about ready to pull them and traditional homeschool which I was going to do. But the two youngest got spots (oldest has done it for a year and half because of health issues). Got most of my house clean before taking my nephew overnight one day this week and now I’m tidying up and refreshing lol
