David Griffin fucked the Zion situation up from day 1. Just a few points- When Z was drafted he said that he did not want to recognize Zion as the superstar, fired 2 coaches that Zion liked, and still introduces Zion 1st, not last in the lineup. Ownership is too stupid to fire the problem...
Honestly, I think the SVG firing was something Zion's camp wanted and leaked to The Athletic. Also, I'm glad they never gave him that recognition, he never won it on the court.
@@lapenadenolapodcast Not true. It was Brandon Ingrams camp that wanted SVG fired, this is well known. BI did not like the point Zion philosophy (that SVG started and was later copied), and told Griffin to fire him. Also Stan, after being fired, said Zion was not "who" got him fired. Some podcasts have said it was BI and Josh Hart, but I don't know about Hart's involvement.
