He said his real father's name. Buck Henry! He's an actor. Oh, and I liked how he called the guy Cut rate James Mason because James Mason is dead, and that was another actor voice him. Funny!!!
Poor archer. 😢 also his mom traumatized him with that alligator toy to push archer away from him and as a result, archer is scared of alligators and crocodiles
Yeah, this would be the episode that would prove to me that Archer is immortal. Dude actively did stuff that could have only gotten him even more dead, willingly. Crashed the jeep into a hole, got bit by a snake his coworker warned him about, wiped his butt with the map, lost the compass, drank booze that would make the poison worse and refused an extraction cuz he didn't want a lecture. Immortal or unkillable.
Not my favorite episode but i do like a good no where adventure. Spoiler, they dont really push this kind of exploration very much in the future BUT the noticeable lower budget on this episode has a one of the best payoffs in the next couple episode. I'm actually just going to go and watch the Finale for the nostalgia and call backs.
Poor lil Archer HAHA
Over the years they leave bits of his past that perfectly explain why he’s the way he is
I laughed so hard when Ceril's drawing looked like bread with olive for eyes.
James Mason was a British actor he was the top box office attraction in the UK in 1944 and 1945 he died in 1984.
The flashback to the lady shooting Archer is the gut is a play on a movie called “The Natural”. This is a low key great episode.
At-At from Star Wars (Hoth battle). The four legged one not to be confused with the At-St chicken walker.
Gotta admit, Cheryl really surprised me with her legendary psychoanalysis on Lana. She destroyed her.
James Mason was an actor, he played Isaac of York in Ivanhoe(1982)
The afterlife scene is based on the 1978 film Heaven Can Wait
Was James Mason in that? I only know him from "Ivanhoe".
Archer's flashback is The Natural and Woodhouse's is Legends of the Fall.
