I was hoping to actually hear their voices performing the song, not lip-syncing. That's part of the charm of looking up these live stage performances is hearing how different it is from the film in question, but oh well, still entertaining.
Yes. But would they have done better than Charro’s voice? I mean… other than the lip synching, I thought the movements were a bit uninspired and didn’t quite live up to the animated characters. Charro’s actual dancing and movements were studied to animate the frog queen, and you can see it in the movie… this girl did a lot less quirky moves, but just repeated them. I know it’s screen versus stage, live versus animated, but still..
Very interesting. Thumbelina is on my cosplay list and I was like wow this is just fantastic. I love the girl playing Mamma Toad but I feel like she should have had her hair like hers. Other than that excellent job
She should’ve moved more like Charro! Like with arms over head, “cuchi cuchi!” 😂 Even the cartoon from 93/94 has more of Charro’s actual movements than this. Of course, this girl isn’t trying to BE Charro…I’m just saying; The movements were a bit underwhelming, comparatively
