Larry Merchant never liked Floyed Mayweather this is Larry's second fight that he called of Maywaether and he never gave him his props. Now I see why Floyed snapped on him in the ring after the Ortiz fight
Averaging fifty punches per round, showing that anyone of those punches could be Knock Out Worthy, it's A joke to hear Floyd Mayweather being called A Runner, Unless it's in reference to running to the bank. Floyd Mayweather has secured A 50 0 and 0 World Record and because His Longevity at the top of His Game has lasted Twenty-five years due to His work on the Art of Defense, Hitting without being Hit more people would rather see This Quality Fighter Lose than Win tells You A lot more about the People Watching and or Commentating On His Career than it does about The Quality, Speed, Accuracy and The Uniquely Talented Prize Fighter that Is Floyd Mayweather. He's A Genius At The Sport Of Boxing and not only The Greatest but The Smartest Sportsman to Grace The Ring.
I tell ppl that all the time. I know they say Ali, Chavez, Roy Jones or whoever, but to me? Floyd is a boxers boxer. Veeery skilled, straight professional wit it!
Merchant has always been against Floyd. Jealous that Floyd has made his so called great and really good fighters look average or embarrassed them. HBO I stopped subscription with HBO just because of Merchant they hired a ------- you fill in the blank Lol
I like what larry's comment about Leija can stop Mayweather then 1st R. at 5:03 came a super duper right hand that made larry's friend leaks the canvas and a flurry of combinations make the haters think twice before talking shit on great fighters. 2nd R. 9:32 then the humiliation time at 9:50. Never talk shit on talented people otherwise they will show you what they are made of. No bicycle, no running just real action. Great boxing lesson and respect to MR. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
I use to be a pro boxer. I started amateur boxing in 1990 until 1998 when I went full pro when I got my boxing license. I started in the lightweight and man i'm just lucky I didn't have to face Floyd at that time because Floyd was just fighting pro in the early 90's and of course till now. But I was his weight and his age so it very possibly could've happen. Like within our first 10 pro fights, you are climbing up a ladder and in this day "1997" It could've happen that I fight Floyd because we both was climbing up. I had a record of 13 win and 1 draw "stupid draw hurt me because I should've had a perfect 13 and 0 record. So I'm actually surprised that I didn't have to fight Floyd or some of the people he fought . I was getting tips and sparring sessions from Oscar. Oscar in those days was living in Massachusetts so he use to go to my gym and help me out because he said "I SEE the potential in you" I was seriously a beast. My defense was like Floyds. I had a powerful right hand and even more power in my left hook. WHEN I use to box south bores I would always hit them with a straight right hand and follow through with a left hook. Sometimes doubling them. I use to go with 3 left hooks. 1 to the lower body, another to the mid body and top it off with one to the head. THAT combo I remember announcers saying "We have to watch this kid... I've never see someone throw a triple left hook" but I use to and FAST. I had some speed. Unfortunately I was way to young and full with an ego so during my last pro match when they gave the match an even draw. I was pissed off so bad. I remember watching the tape of that fight for a whole month counting every punch and trying to see every time a ref did something that was against me and whatnot. I watched it all and On my score card I WON! I freaking won clearly. NO way was it a draw. Anyways it hurt me so bad because I told myself and my family. I want a perfect record with no loses and if I ever lose or draw and it messes up my license stats then i'll leave the sport and that's what I did. I was so dumb though because I should've just got up and fought again. The thing is, I wanted to be like the other fighters who was 14 and 0. I was so depressed and didn't want to fight again. Kinda sad. I was so stupid. Like Screw the dam record now. I would've fought and even if I get 2 loses. I STILL would've had a chance at a tittle belt.
Larry Merchant: ‘’Let’s see if the second knock down was legitimate or if it came due to an accumulation of blows’’😂 . Someone ought to tell Larry that KDs and KOs usually come after an accumulation of blows. Floyd was not wrong when after the Ortiz fight he told Larry he never gave him credit throughout his career. Been listening to Larry’s comments on Floyd’s fights throughout the years and he always had some doubtful things to say, of course every time was proven wrong.
90's Floyd was an animal.

Merchant is an asshole.
He prejudiced towards Floyd and his family.
@@Wis_Dom , exactly. Merchant is a racist asshole.
City Scapes he’s a jack azz 💯
Art J Johnson you Conclude that he’s racist only because the victim is black
you can tell roy jones really admires Floyd Mayweather Jr
Any true boxer is going to admire Mayweather, Only fanboys and Larry Merchant don't.
Yeah,... Roy saw "Glimpses" of himself in Young Floyd😎
He fights like roy but with the shoulder roll. They both got that signature lead left hook
@@AgentFTW1
Floyd had more skill than Roy though.
@@truthhitman7473 they're offense is equal imo but in both their primes Floyd's defense is way better
Roy Jones “it was something very serious” after Merchant says “it was a flash knockdown” after the dude stumbled around the ring.
Thanks for these videos of Floyd I never seen a more dominant fighter

That counter right been floyd bread and butter throughout his career

May weather the great est boxer I've seen so far in my life time Ali number 2
50 wins is top rank boxing I don't think any one can beat that record nny may weather don't have to fight
