      Trilogy Media I wish the world worked like this. The sad truth is existence for most is cold and harsh. There's a small percentage of the people in the states that are prosperous.
      However most people struggle from day to day. I live at poverty level and have done so for a long time. I'm in pain 24 hours a day,can get absolutely no help, and have no job.
      The only way I survive is because of my mother. She is aging,and has multiple health issues herself.
      We live on her social security and my food stamps. This is the kind of people these scammers target.
      For them to think we all are filthy rich and swim in pools full of money is ridiculous.

      You too man have lifted this fellow up amazingly and perhaps found your third partner maybe. He knows how these work and his information his knowledge is inside knowledge especially if you went anonymously. If you added him to your site advertised it and he started answering questions for people and helping real people out you guys would have a team nobody could beat. I honor you both. Your new friend had the humility to receive your words. You are the men of the future. America needs honest skill and fighting scammer land is up there in importance.

    • @SunyiSideUp
      @SunyiSideUp 6 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      GrannyGoose I think a lot of them do. Understand that in India, there are people in extreme poverty and dubious safety. Most of them don't even get the big money that they scam out of people. They are being used. Some of these organizations are like slave operations. Even though they get paid, they are sometimes in actual danger if they leave or don't do it. They also are lead to believe that Americans in general rich. Which, on a world scale, they are. But they don't realize that the little granny they scammed out of her social security check maybe can't afford to eat after they do that. Or the single dad they scammed now can't afford child care and maybe will lose his job because if having no one to look after his child. Or that the money they stole might make that family who was a victim of a natural disaster end up on the street. Or even that money could be the difference between someone's kid going to college or not. They don't understand that there are people like that here. Because they're lied to about it.

      @@medicsturch2731 if you think TH-cam pays all these content creators, then you are wildly ignorant to the overall situation. VERY few content creators are paid enough from TH-cam to make a living. Most of them have to depend on outside sponsorships, Patreon, and twitch stream donations to earn a living. TH-cam is actually the last and worst option for most creators looking for an income. Instead they use the platform more to be discovered and expand. Please do some real research before likening these creators to piece of trash scammers, cause that’s wholly idiotic.

    I’m new to this channel- and I have to say what Art said really hit me hard. When I was a child I had a rough life as well- when the scammer spoke about going to bed hungry- drinking water to try and fill yourself up- that was me....and I grew up here in the U.S. Food insecurity in the USA is more common than most would believe, but I made myself a promise when I was a child- that one day I would make enough that I would never have to feel hunger again, and that my children would never have to grow up as I did. Art- hearing you share your experience to make a difference in this man’s life almost brought me tears. Thanks for this.

Most people who come illegally try to become legal - the US just makes the process so expensive and complicated that it's ridiculous

Sometimes you wonder if anyone would even give a shit if you disappeared off the face of the earth, especially after having so many friends all your life and then having none for so long. The friends that were left all got into drugs, stealing, and some even robbery, which made it so i had to separate myself from them, which was very sad and royally sucked. I'm sorry to hear you're in the same boat. I think a lot of recovering addicts get screwed friend-wise bc they can't have "normal" friends afterwards...And by that I mean many people our age just party as their hang out, so if you've left that life you don't wanna get back into it. Plus, I think generally it's hard to find GOOD friends nowadays. Did you get out of anchorage? I've been there once and know people that live there. I would get too depressed way up there! :) I know that area has the highest rate of alcoholism.

      LSN92 look up the stats for heroin abuse too, it's $200 a gram and $50 for a tenth of a gram. Yeah I got out of anchorage, been in Washington state a few years now. The only way I've been able to stay clean is with subs and not talking to anyone, almost relapsed once because I met someone at my work that had heroin.. didn't wait long enough and didn't feel shit from it.. glad I didn't, took away my desire for it I see that guy still sometimes and he's offered me some but I'm just not wanting to go back to that.

      @greenthizzle4 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      LSN92 pretty much everyone in our age group is corrupt, well actually it seems the entire United States is corrupt.. these days it's best to just not have friends because other people will lead you to places you never expected or wanted to be.

    Man!! I live in Greece. We too have an economic recession going on. But dont get out on the streets and start stealing people of their money. I had economic problems as well. My dad had an accident and he was out of work for three years. I was 18. And I had to give up college to get a job to feed my family. We were in a state that we couldn't afford even the basics. We would get food from a programm of a church that gave out food to poor families. Then I found a job and then another one. And I really did it to keep my family alive. Now as a family, we are in a position were I can start studying again. It's never hopeless to try and make your life better.

      Sure it is an inspiring story, but not anyone can be expected to achieve that. The feelgood stories cant happen to everyone. The society should help its citizens, not the corporate world.

    I love how you engage with them and your approach. It’s almost like when people try to council gang members to think about their actions and get out of the gang. You are the only people I’ve seen on here that actually try to solve the problem, and get to the root of the scammers conscience, helping them to self examine their actions and lives. You’re both brilliant. Amazing technique in how you get them to open up and be honest, admit they are ashamed and not happy doing what they’re doing, and come to the realization that they want to change their lives and get out. while at the same time being real about how unethical and destructive what they’re doing truly is. Every day really is another chance to turn it all around. You have to really want it though, you have to find a way, work hard, and not give up. You must have an iron determination. Art, I did it too. So I know he can. I was escaped an extremely abusive and drug addicted husband with just my two babies and the clothes on our backs. I had no education, no family, no job, no home and we were living in the battered woman’s shelter. I worked my way through, raised my kids, worked two jobs in factories to put myself through school. And little by little, our lives got better. I bought a home. I went all the way to earning my Masters of Social Work, my kids grew up and are wonderful human beings. My daughter is a counselor in mental health and my son is in the United States Air Force. And now I have an even more beautiful home, great career and a wonderful and loving partner in my life. Art, I can relate to you so much. You really poured your heart out to that guy and you were so encouraging. And then you offer him a JOB. I started crying. It’s such a beautiful thing. I really hope he got out and that he finds you and goes to work for you guys. I am compelled to say to we who were born here: we are SO lucky to be born in the United States. We take it for granted you know. Until stories like this one smacks you in the face and reminds you just how lucky we really are. I’m an educated and trained Social Worker and Socioeconomic Analyst. I’ve worked for the Feds and now I work for the State of Delaware. I want to work with you guys so badly. This is work that speaks to my soul and I would dedicate myself 💯 to this kind of good. Throwing a life line to those who see their lives as hopeless, helping people change their lives for the better, helping people save themselves. You both are very inspiring. Art, you ARE the American Dream. We need more people like you both in the world. Love you guys. Keep up the good work!

I'm still trying to learn those lessons, and money cannot buy them. Not everybody in the US is well off. It takes a lot of hard work to pay the bills and to get by. Yes, we are fortunate. Think about the millionaires in the world don't consider other's because money has changed them. I'm nor wealthy, but I live a simple life, and I'm trying to teach my own children to enjoy life and God, and to do good things, not only for themselves, but most importantly, for others. You should be a motivational speaker! I work a normal 9-5 job and you got me wanting to better myself. I cant be the only one who teared up watching this. I hope for his sake he is able to get out of there. Who knew that phone call would potentially change a scammers life for the better. You guys are amazing and keep up the good work!

    Thank you for taking the opportunity to speak into this person’s life. It is so easy to pass judgement and never try to encourage a person to do some honest self reflection and take accountability for their own actions. What you did was to show love to someone and it reached them. I’m sure it has touched many people, to remind them to be humane.
