Thanks mate - still havent done anything with the rear door.... and havent heard of Kanon before - so thanks for the heads up - checking out what they do now! :D
Thanks Mike - I'm definitely finding thats the case - the more I go out the more confidence I have in the car to move through whats placed in front of it :)
Oh for sure! Brock and Jimny went so well.... And absolutely no fear. Ive certainly learnt the pajero can do so much more, but at the time, and first bigger trip out, you don't really want to overcook it and smash up your new car...... Wouldn't want to be the newbie 4wd person who ends up with a bunch of comments on TH-cam about being a plank for that. Hahhah
Mate put a 2" lift at tyres and enjoy .The Paj is a very underated vehicle . I have one and I keep up with the bigger boys , with the on road comfort. You will love it.
Thanks John..... Really need to put some more work into her... And get out and shoot some videos too. She got the 2in lift short afterwards that video, but wheels are a bit further off
Thanks. I literally rewatched this video for some inspiration yesterday and commented to myself about how I've done so little to the paj.... so should probably get a move on! Good thought about the table :)
2 inch lift, snorkel, and good tyres needed. There was nothing there the pajero couldn't do as shown in the video, it's proberbly the most capable there with these upgrades 👍
Thanks! Yeah this video was 3 years ago and some of the work that you've listed is done (although a timely reminder to keep moving it forward). And I'd also say that I'm more trusting of the paj and her abilities. Thanks for your thoughts
Thanks for the video theres not many good perth 4wd videos out there. I got a NL Pajero stock and Would like to try this out. I have Been up to the pines and two rocks they're alright but gets boring.
Thanks JJ - greatly appreciated. I agree, Perth is hard because there are great places, but they take a while to get to - you can see why the local guys like Ronny Dahl have had to go over east etc. The Sandy Cape video and Moore River 360 might also inspire you. If you're looking for a recommendation on a simple track - then Sea bird/guildteron is worth a look. Its an easy but reasonable something something for stock, and theres great ocean views - just dont hit the beach, its super soft.
Nice vid... Got an NX Paj. the 2 inch lift makes all the difference. King springs and Koni Suspension was my choice. Also a set of Cooper St max. A custom tune as well. Keep testing yourself.
Thanks David :) I ended up with a lovell/blisten 2in combo, which went in shortly after the Sandy Cape video was shot back in Jan 19.... I just havent edited that one yet. Tune wise - yeah, Im keen - its on the list along with roof rack. Tyres - Im thinking Nitto Ridge Grappler - read good things and they look tastey.... just the cost of doing all of it hahaha. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment :)
Thanks. Its the captain fawcett track, just outside dwellingup. I'm happy with the Paj, but I havent had others to compare it to. I just preferred the higher driving postion compared to a prado, and couldnt get a ute like a hilux due to the work i do
Keep at it mate and watch some 4wd vids. The Paj is an incredibly capable vehicle even stock standard. Especially with the standard front and rear lockers on the GLS & Exceed. There’s nothing in that video that could come close to stopping it.
@@brucegarrod Might just do that haha Also, if you're looking for somewhere to cook there's a bunch of company's that do fold down tailgate tables for the Pajero. Heaps of DIYs also.
@@jamesdavies432 yeah i might look at them later on. Ive got a beach trip this wkend, so that might generate another video. Im concentrating on the bigger mods first; suspension is on route 😊
More than likely - but still being a 4wd noobie, I also didnt want to be the guy who f$cuked it up for the internet to enjoy/rage on hahahah... maybe next time I'll give it a crack. Thanks for watching all the way through! :)
Hi bloke , probably old news to you now if you've still got your Paj , get onto Kaon 4x4 they do some awesome kit for the rear of the Paj 👍
Thanks mate - still havent done anything with the rear door.... and havent heard of Kanon before - so thanks for the heads up - checking out what they do now! :D
Pajeros are very capable and underrated. Good car.
Thanks Mike - I'm definitely finding thats the case - the more I go out the more confidence I have in the car to move through whats placed in front of it :)
Lol, the Jimny guy is the man, he ain’t scared of doing the stuff the capable Pajero could have easily done.
Oh for sure! Brock and Jimny went so well.... And absolutely no fear.

You can put a drop down table off rear door for your stove! Nice video👌

Good thought about the table :)
Awesome mate
Great vid went out last week hasn’t changed much .. the water crossing has been chopped up abit 🍻

Nice vid ! Where about sin dwellingup is that? Also I’m looking to buy a Pajero , would you recommend one?
Thanks. Its the captain fawcett track, just outside dwellingup. I'm happy with the Paj, but I havent had others to compare it to. I just preferred the higher driving postion compared to a prado, and couldnt get a ute like a hilux due to the work i do
Pajero is good value for money, cheaper and you have tons of luggage space compared to Prado. DID engine is tried and tested. You won’t go wrong

Thanks mate! 😊😁
They don't come with a front diff, only centre and rear
Put shelves in for the stove
With the 4 cylinder diesel are they any good will it last.?
time will tell i guess!
This needs more views. Tight Edit mate.
Thanks James. Feel free to rewatch a few time to bump it up 😂😉. Hahaha

Yeah the nav
You could have done that water crossing easily
