সিঙ্গেল ফেজ এবং থ্রি ফেজ সার্কিট । Single Phase and Three Phase Circuit:
ইলেকট্রিক্যাল সার্কিটে দুই ধরনের সিস্টেম রয়েছে যথাঃ ১। সিঙ্গেল ফেজ সিস্টেম এবং ২। থ্রি ফেজ সিস্টেম।
সিঙ্গেল ফেজ সিস্টেম
Single একটি ইংরেজি শব্দ যার বাংলা অর্থ হচ্ছে এক। সিঙ্গেল ফেজ মানে একটি ফেজ যেখানে কারেন্ট প্রবাহের জন্য একটি মাত্র পথ থাকবে যা লোড হয়ে নিউট্রাল দিয়ে ফেরত যাবে ফলে সার্কিটকে কমপ্লিট হবে।
আবাসিক বিদ্যুৎ ব্যবস্থা এবং আবাসিক বৈদ্যুতিক লোড প্রধানত এক-ফেজের হয়ে থাকে। তাই থ্রী-ফেজ ব্যবস্থা থেকে সরাসরি আবাসিক ভবনে সংযোগ দেয়া হয় না। যদি কোন স্থানে দেয়া হয়ও, তাহলে তিনটি ফেজকে প্রধান বিদ্যুৎ ডিস্ট্রিবিউশন বোর্ড থেকেই আলাদা করে দেয়া হয় এবং পৃথক পৃথক লোডগুলো যে কোন একটি ফেজ থেকে সংযোগ পায়।
সিঙ্গেল ফেজ সিস্টেম সাধারণত বাসা বাড়িতে বেশি ব্যবহিত হয়ে থাকে। বাসা বাড়ির লোড (বাতি, ফ্যান, টেলিভিশন, ফ্রিজ ইত্যাদি) সিঙ্গেল ফেজ লাইনে চলে।
থ্রি ফেজ সিস্টেম
থ্রি ফেজ সিস্টেম হলো এমন একটি সিস্টেম যার মাদ্ধমে পাওয়ার জেনারেশন, ট্রান্সমিশন ও ডিস্ট্রিবিউশন করা হয়ে থাকে। ১৮৮২ সালে এই পদ্ধতিতে উদ্ভাবন ঘটে যে ১ টির বেশি ফেজ দিয়েও পাওয়ার জেনারেশন, ট্রান্সমিশন ও লোডের জন্য ডিস্ট্রিবিউশন করা সম্ভব।
পৃথিবীর প্রায় সকল দেশ তাদের বিদ্যুৎ বিতরণের জাতীয় গ্রীডে থ্রি-ফেজ ব্যবস্থা ব্যবহার করে। বিশাল বিশাল বৈদ্যুতিক মোটর এবং অনুরূপ অনেক ভারী বৈদ্যুতিক লোডে বিদ্যুৎ শক্তি সরবরাহ করতেও এই ব্যবস্থা ব্যবহার করা হয়।
থ্রি ফেজ সার্কিট একটি পলিফেজ সিস্টেম যেখানে জেনারেটর থেকে তিনটি ফেজ একসাথে লোডে প্রেরণ করা হয়। প্রতিটি ফেজের ফেজ ডিফারেন্স ইলেকট্রিক্যালি ১২০ ডিগ্রী অর্থাৎ টোটাল ফেজ ডিফারেন্স ৩৬০ ডিগ্রী।
তিনফেজের প্রতিটি ফেজকে এক একটি সিঙ্গেল ফেজ হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা যাবে। যদি লোড সিঙ্গেল ফেজের হয় তবে তিন ফেজ সার্কিট থেকে যেকোন একটি ফেজ নিয়ে সাথে একটি নিউট্রাল ব্যবহার করে লোড চালানো যাবে।
সিঙ্গেল ফেজের তুলনায় তিন ফিজ সিস্টেম সুবিধাসমূহ:
সিঙ্গেল ফেজের তুলনায় থ্রী ফেজ যন্ত্র সমূহের দক্ষতা বেশি
থ্রী ফেজ মোটর নিজে নিজে স্টার্ট নিতে পারে যেখানে সিঙ্গেল ফেজ মোটর নিজে নিজে স্টার্ট নিতে পারে না।
সিঙ্গেল ফেজের তুলনায় থ্রী ফেজ মোটরে তার কম প্রয়োজন হয়, লস কম হয়।
থ্রী ফেজ থেকে ১ ফেজ সহজেই সাপ্লাই দেওয়া যায় কিন্তু ১ ফেজ হতে সহজে থ্রি ফেজ সাপ্লাই দেওয়া যায় না।
থ্রি ফেজ সিস্টেমে দুই ধরনের ভোল্টেজ পাওয়া যায়। এই সিস্টেম থেকে ১ ফেজ ও ৩ ফেজ লোডে সাপ্লাই দেওয়া যায়।
Polyphase System
Polyphase System is a combination of two or more than two voltages having same magnitude and frequency but displaced from each other by an equal electrical angle. As poly means, many (more than one) and phase means windings or circuits. Each of them has a single alternating voltage of the same magnitude and frequency.
Three Phase System
Definition: The system which has three phases, i.e., the current will pass through the three wires, and there will be one neutral wire for passing the fault current to the earth is known as the three phase system. In other words, the system which uses three wires for generation, transmission and distribution is known as the three phase system. The three phase system is also used as a single phase system if one of their phase and the neutral wire is taken out from it. The sum of the line currents in the 3-phase system is equal to zero, and their phases are differentiated at an angle of 120º
The three-phase system has four wire, i.e., the three current carrying conductors and the one neutral. The cross section area of the neutral conductor is half of the live wire. The current in the neutral wire is equal to the sum of the line current of the three wires and consequently equal to √3 times the zero phase sequence components of current.
The three phase system induces in the generator which gives the three phase voltage of equal magnitude and frequency. It provides an uninterruptible power, i.e., if one phase of the system is disturbed, then the remaining two phases of the system continue supplies the power.
