These are indeed an absolute nightmare 🤣 It's impossible to find a replacement to the one I broke. The wiring is different. I've partially rigged it, but only buzzer works. I have to have somebody else stand at the bottom while on the phone to instruct them to press/talk/listen while I try to discover which wire is which with a multimeter, and then where they connect to. I did it once, write it all down, few days later lost the paper. It's time to repeat the whole process tomorrow because I need to get this done once and for all lol. Great work.
Had a firm come out to do mine because the old one fell iff when someone buzzed me now its worse get a high humming noise cant hardly hear people downstairs
I was wondering if you can help me please. I recently moved into a new flat with a broken intercom. I identified it as a "ACET 22220 (2 Wire)". It has 6 wires inside (yellow, green, white, red, blk, blue). Cables yellow and red are in slot 5, black and blue are in slot 6 and the other cables are not connected at all. I bought a bell 801 as replacement which 5 slots for wires "I R O T Z" which is different from my old ACET 22220. Will this work as a replacement? And if so where would each cable go?
I found this from the web: interfoni.rs/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Acet-22220-_2-zice-interfonska-slusalica-sema-prikljucaka-1.pdf I am not sure Bell 801 is compatible or not but I think you it is safer bet to get Acet handset: www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=ACET+22220+alternative+handset&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_odkw=ACET+22220.&_osacat=0 You may also refer to this: www.intercomsrus.com/finder/ From my experience, you can try working on each function to see if it may work, e.g. to the ring sound first, then the open door button....
Hmm, the wires have to be connected differently according to your old handset. I had some help from the seller of the new handset after having shown a photo of the circuit board of the old handset to him. Point to note, - a wire must be for door release, - a wire must be mic out - a wire must be incoming rings - a wire must be incoming voice So before you unconnect the wires, take some good photos to mark the numbers

Thank you @@MatthewKwan
@@shilipsy Hope you can get it worked out.
Is there any sequence in order to connect/disconnect wires? I don’t want to blow any fuse.
Well, in my case, I don't think my phone was powered. So, I did not care when I disconnect/connect
Did you have to shut off the power in your whole block to do the work?
No, I did not.
U didn’t show which wires to connect where
