My goal with this video is to present to you five apps that can assist you in different types of situations where language translation is a challenge.

Loving these recommendations! Immersive Translate is another one that’s been fantastic for me in 2024.
itranslate sounds like the best choice, however, It is not clear which translator is best for clear translation in a live conversation.
Is there any app avaiable that can translate the whole sentence accurately

I don’t like any of these apps because none of them do what I need. I have a TH-cam channel that is in creole. And I stumbled across the channel because her partner has an English-speaking channel. I can’t find an app that will listen to the creole and transfer it to English on my phone. But I know it exists. I just don’t know what app does this. I need to listen to her words and show up in English on my phone. Can anyone help me?
Creole, cajun or Arcadian is just how French people spoke 500 years ago.

In order to truly test accuracy you would need to be able to simulate hundreds to thousands of different types of accents.

Btw 6 years of french and I just don’t care enough to remember a lot. Learn a language you actually want to learn for a specific reason. Teaching anything just as a second language for school almost never works. 😅
Hello David. We have several immigrant ukranian speakers who are personable and would be suitable to work in retail environment. Is there anything that could be effective in that environment?
Always go to google translate. Apple is no good as I need Dutch.

Almost all translation apps suffer from the same problem. You hit a button, and 1 second later it stops translating. THen you need to hit the button again to start it again (usually after the person has stopped speaking). Also, since you don't know exactly when they will start speaking, you end up starting the translation multiple times hoping to start it before they speak, then you end up starting it partway through a sentence, missing most of what they said. it's very frustrating. This single feature (shutting off after a second) makes communication virtually impossible with ALL of these apps.
In my opinion, ANY review that doesn't address this OBVIOUS problem that will arise for EVERY SINGLE USER, when trying to translate in real time, is just useless. This is the most important question, and anyone who has ever tried to translate in real time KNOWS this is the most important problem that an app needs to overcome.
If your review doesn't address this, your review is useless. I can say I haven't tried all of these translation apps, but some of them are definitely UTTERLY USELESS due to this problem. Have you actually tried???

The problem I see with apple translate is that there are many languages which they don't include. Still. at the end of 2023. A European language that has existed for 1100 years.
How about for Androids
Those translators won't make me sound native ! I really hate using Google translator it's the worst

Informative video but the term Hearing Impaired (HI) is not the the correct term to refer to people with hearing loss; HI is offensive. You can say "game changer for anyone out there with a hearing loss" or "game changer for anyone out there that is deaf or hard of hearing". 😊
