Sadly in the current CPUF when startup fail occurs, nothing bad happens. You just need to shutdown reactor that is really easy and everything will come back to normal (tho you will need to manually recalibrate lasers, but it isnt hard)
I wonder why when the core structure goes below 50% the core screen displays "CRITICAL STATUS REACTOR CORE" Maybe because the core is 50% Damaged and 50% To destruction moment
