This is completely amazing Joel! You should be so proud of what you have accomplished and your work! I know you love doing this but you are so good at it and as you said, it’s a complicated house and you designed it and are taking a massive part in this project! I am so impressed!!!!

Epic house Joel- congratulations on passing the framing section. I don’t envy you all working in the extreme cold.... Hard graft for real but you’re doing a fabulous job and taking us all along.💗👏👏🌟 Home for some warming soup.
Congratulations"MARK" for passing Inspection I have so enjoyed watching you build the house of Bonnies dreams!!! I really enjoyed the CRACK house as well. Get lots of rest for Monday.
You are so completely right Joel!! Build to where you are happy with everything! My husband and I built our home 3 years ago, and at the time we had 3 kiddos and a newborn. We thought we weren't staying living in the state we are in and decides to build just a single level home. We had considered doing an upstairs, but didn't want to spend the extra $40,000 it would've cost. Especially if we weren't planning on staying very long. Well, 3 years later and an unexpected bundle of joy later, and our home is way too small! Add in inflation, and to add an upstairs now to our specifications, it would cost anywhere from $150,000 to 200k!!! We feel like big idiots for not just doing it in the first place!! I've just started a small business, and am hoping it helps to make some income to either rebuild a new home soon, or add on to our upstairs. Because we desperately need it!!! We learned our lesson though! On a happier note, your home is just beautiful and I can't wait to see it completed!! Bonnie is a blessed lady for having such a smart and not to mention handy man for a husband!!
Wow the house is coming along amazingly, Can I ask a genuine question 🙋🏻♀️ we live in Europe UK and then NL to be exact, all our homes are brick/concrete construction. How does the wooden framing withstand such harsh winters? I would have thought that the boards would be warped and potentially rotting due to the snow adding so much moisture into them? As I say genuinely curious as I’ve not seen homes built this way before.
I am so proud of you Joel. Lots of long hours and cold cold days. Thank you for building me a home!!
Thanks cutie
