Nothing says creepy like waking up in the middle of the night to hear crunching sounds under your bed. You take a peek under the bed and see the dead, bloody, and headless corpse of a rabbit. A couple of glowing eyes stare at you from behind it. It's your damn cat. It somehow dragged a rabbit into your house and under your bed. You dispose of the remains with your murderous feline following behind you. The rest of the night two angry glowing eyes fixate on you from the corner of the bed. You wonder if you'll be the next headless corpse. Life with a cat.

Of course you know the cat will rise to the challenge of exit and enter when you are not looking ... (Plus to your story ... At least you did not have to chase a live bunny around the house ... those little guys are fast and the cat will love to help you hunt it down in all the small crooks and crannies you never knew you had, while you are trying to save the little bugger and put it back outside) ...
@@summersolstice884 I've had to chase down bunnies, squirrels, mice, and even other cats. I could probably make a living off of live captures. Every generation of cats I've raised had a few sneaky hunters. I need steel mesh and not screens. Simple latches are too easy for them to overcome. I tend to raise ferals and they are some of the smartest cats I've ever seen.
My cat was a Very good Hunter, almost everyday He Hunted a rat, One time I saw a headless rat in my wardrobe, and other day other half rat AT MY BED (or ON my BED? Sorry my weird english, Brazilian here), other night I wake UP with him joking (killing) the rat ON MY BED AGAIN, I take him with It in his mouth and take them out in the midlle of the night 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I miss my murderous Hunter, the birds around here DON'T feel the same 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

It’s because he was separated from his mother too early, it’s kinda like a kid sucking their thumb, but far more irritating. You can get them to stop the habit with patience or have them do it to a toy instead of you but…..yeah
Oh that’s like one of my dogs. He sucks is paws sometimes and loves to huddle, think how penguins sit with their parents but a dog with a human instead.

I can't get one thing out of my mind about cats, and it solidifies my desire to ever own one. That's why I watch cute cat compilations to get my fix in. But did you know that wonderful, cute furball of love will eat you if you pass away at home. It's not a maybe, but it's 100% knowledge coming from a medical investor who deals with death day in and day out. And they don't wait like lets say a dog would. On the other hand, for a dog owner, weiner dogs are the ones who have no qualms on getting a snack in on you. The only bred who won't is a golden retriever. Just think about that if you're wondering if you should get a cute little kitten. 😅 ...sorry, had to get that out of my system.
