Thats actually brilliant from Kepa to play the offside after getting caught out of position. You can see he clearly knew what he was doing raising his hand immediately after the pass. Brilliant.

@@hedostoik offside doesn’t have to mean closest to opposition keeper. A player is offside if they are the closest player on the pitch to the opposition’s last player which in this case is Rudiger. Usually the last opposition player is the keeper (makes sense because they stay in goal) but in this case the keeper moves up making Rudiger the last opposition player. Hope this makes sense

@@Beimbim there needs to be 2 players between the goal line and the attacking player for it to be onside. Usually that includes the keeper but it doesn’t have to be. So Rudiger is the last man back, Kane needs to be behind Azpi or Kepa to be onside

I think we need to take this loss with a grain of salt. Yes we lost but Lo Celso, Winks, and Hojbjerg all played quite well. The defense was solid other than a perfect header that should have been saved. We need to score goals against big clubs and unfortunately without Son it’s not as easy.

Regardless of the 2 penalties and kanes goal being cancelled we were just not good enough. There is a huge gap between us and the top 4 teams and we need to come into terms and acknowledge we are a work in progress. Conte has an uphill battle to fight and we must be patient and trust the process. As of now, we are not good enough and it requires time, investment and commitment from all parties involved. For Tottenham fans, Heung-Min Son is a pity. He needs a fan who loves him and respects his dedication as a human being. Their views on other races, especially Asians, are very low.
This was the second leg playing at home that they should've won. This is the first defeat at home since conte arrived. Son made difference in absence of kane as he always does but I don't see that from kane even though he was the one who's been playing up front getting the most of chances. Son is injured out now working too much on defensively dropping deep. Imagine how many goals son would've scored more if he was keeping playing up front ever since the beginning of the season. What a waste of his talent.
