Maybe South Korea is more like the US than I thought
Who would of thought we’d wear off on South Korea
It's way worse in terms of economic inequality
A literal cyberpunk dystopia
I mean without the US their is no South Korea
South Korea is the US turned up to 11. It’s insane how obsessed they are with looks, celebrities, trends, and consumerism

Ban fried toothpicks. And only allow baked toothpicks for consumption. Or boiled toothpicks.
Toothpicks dont pick teeth, people do!
Stewed, 6 hours minimum

I lost 30kg by swapping to boiled toothpicks
Roasted plastic is on the rise, but only if it's green
The fact we have to “urge people not to eat fried toothpicks” should scare everyone
The human average IQ has been steadily going down by almost 7 points a decade for the past 7 decades now....we arent getting smarter we are literally turning into Neanderthals again. Have you ever heard of the sink tank experiment with mice? They made a utopia for mice and they all became stupid and crazy and I think humans are doing the same thing to ourselves. Wev created a world where things are so easy and accessible we are becoming dumb and crazy. I know I'm right but no one wants to listen.
I mean I’ve literally seen a sign at a South Korean restaurant telling people not to defecate at the dinner table… So this doesn’t surprise me.
This reminds me of Trump "bleach". The company came out to did the same "Don't drink bleach". I think few people. 😮😮😮

Korean toothpicks are made of corn starch! They're not eating plastic
Thanks for sharing. Never knew.
I sure hope that’s the truth!😂
Who said plastic?? toothpicks are wood
Traditional Korean toothpicks, known as "chopsticks," are typically made from wood or bamboo, not corn starch. However, there are some modern eco-friendly toothpicks made from materials like corn starch, but they may not be specific to Korean culture.
@@DeathnoteBB What wood is translucent green, please
Just because they aren't made out of plastic doesn't mean there isn't cancer causing materials in the toothpicks. Some people.
These are Korean toothpicks, they are made from starch but the danger is probably from the green food coloring used. These toothpicks were not meant for consumption
They’re starch, exact same as prawn crackers
Corn starch toothpicks are edible bud. Do your research
@AnthonysMeat found this in a quick 1 minute search.“Starch toothpicks are not edible products. Their safety as food has not been verified,” the ministry said, adding: “Please do not eat them.” The story has sparked widespread public response in China.Jan 31, 2024. Not saying they are not edible, but I can see the confusion if there are articles like this online.
Cancer causing crap in all food in the US

They are made from starch to be biodegradable. Not plastic.

What are Korean fried toothpicks made of? (answer below)
Food coloring is used to impart a green hue to the toothpicks, made from "sweet potato or corn starch," which are seen as being environmentally friendly and biodegradable. Often used in restaurants in South Korea, they can also be used to pick up finger foods.
They were still recommending that people should not consume them.
Ahhh,wood
Processed with industrial chemicals and machinery that were not designed to be food safe
@@leeamoses324Starch biodegrades even faster than wood. Its because Korea has a special government food waste management program where they turn it into compost and wood toothpicks get in the way.
Korean toothpicks are NOT made out of wood! It is made of corn or potato starch!
Why is it that the western media doesn’t bother to explain that???? Despite the fact that it is made of starch, it is not known what happens to it when fried -hence the advisory! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
SssHHHHHHHhhh you're ruining the fake outrage.

Also, weather way, terrible for ya
That really does look like cheap plastic toothpicks. It doesn't help that plastic expands under heat
@FckSht-gn4py it's tapioca starch which is the same as Prawn Crackers.
We should stop trying to prevent people from being dumb.
Natural selection in this case would not apply to them because anyone with a brain and some chemistry knowledge knows petroleum based products like plastic do not expand when fried or melted. These are made from the same material used in Prawn Crackers.
@@EzraMerryup but I do agree with OPs sentiment for not saving stupid people from their stupidity. Just seems like the ethical thing to do
The reason we try to prevent people from being dumb is so that we don't have to use resources to save them once they have done something dumb.
@@thelolrus7491 Makes sense. People should be less empathetic tbh
thats the biggest part of the problem tbh. idiots rely on other peoples money and resources too often. if they simply werent given special treatment maybe it would force people to at least attempt to use their brains. instead weve gotten into this auto pilot state of mind.@@thelolrus7491

@McYeroc that's y u have soap n clorox my g I've been washing it forever n never got salmonella. It doesn't take long to clean at all and by that logic u shouldn't have to wash ur hands after handling the chicken u can just pat ur hands dry with a paper towel and throw it in the bin🫥doesn't get rid of it
Soaking chicken in lemon water helps peel the slime off. Adds flavor too. (A fresh lemon slice)
