--------------- **Edit: I completely forgot to mention that the plastic cover under the car needs to be removed in order to gain access to the radiator drain plug. This is removed by taking out the phillips screws on the cover and then lowering it down to the ground.**
Hey guys another short video here showing you how to replace the upper radiator hose on any 1997-2003 BMW 540i model with the M62/M62TU engine. This model is a 2001 model so it has a water cooled alternator. I believe the earlier models (1997-1998) did not have the water cooled alternator and the hose will not have that smaller additional hose coming off of the bottom of the larger hose. Also to note is the (1997-1998) models may have normal hose clamps instead of the quick disconnects found on the 1999-2003 models. The procedure is still the same though.
