Bratzillias and Novi Stars are AMAZING. I was insanely lucky to get an in box bratzillia for retail and six novi stars near complete at a garage sale this summer. they bring me so much joy every time i seem them on my shelf.
I hit my 16 year old self on the head with a newspaper everytime I remember thinking these dolls were ugly and Not Even Bratz Dolls... It was actually a really beautifully executed line!
It shows good design is not always that expensive. It costs money to do ugly or mediocre things, so if something must be produced, make it as beautiful or interesting as possible.
Bratzillaz are so f-ing underrated. The only major flaw I could think of is the polypropylene hair! They just ate SO hard and are in my humble opinion lowkey better than MH in terms of dolls... Anyways, they for sure deserved better🤧
They are gorgeous. I wasn't collecting alot during this time period so now I'm finding a little at a time. I have 4 or 5 Bratzillas not complete. Thanks for sharing the link. I just love those little red socks.
When the Zillaz first came out I lived in an area that never got them so I never had the chance to try them out till this year when I randomly found one at a car boot (flea market) and truly fell in love with them. They have quickly become my all time favourite line, I have about 60 now and will continue to collect more they truly just hit different
Bratzillaz is what got me back into dolls and collecting as an adult ! Victoria is still my grail doll ! super excited for you for getting them! Super cool of you to share where you got them too! Happy Holidays!
Congrats on the great dolls. I also regret not buying Bratzillas when they were new. MH really monopolized the market by flooding it with constant new releases that you might or might not get only one chance to buy. If they had come out after MH was cancelled, they might have been a hit. The faces are all gorgeous.
ok so Iliana has been on my wishlist for the longest time because- SHES SO OBVIOUSY A DESI GIRL, and we don't get a lot of rep, especially with her "sash" that is actually inspired by saris. we don't get a lot of dolls if any in American lines with especially not with saris, it may not be correct but saris have a TON of fabric so I think their rendition is perfect, the pants are sort of stereotypical and are based off of pants that I grew up wearing which are usually made of a white cotton instead and can be worn with Punjabi and shelarkamis(I have no idea how to spell it in English sorry) although the boys mostly wear the puffy ones. I remember having to pry those tight ankles off my feet and it pulling my bed along with it while I was horizontal with my twin pulling it off because mine had no elastic in the cuffs lol. her blouse is also based off of traditional desi blouses(even though hers doesn't have the pointed square neckline) which are worn with a kind of slip skirt with fabric wrapped around the body and pleated at the ends, one going over one shoulder and the other tucked into the waistline
She’s SO important. I was so excited about her because there’s almost no other doll like her aside from a few Barbies from “dolls of the world”- style lines. I really love that she’s just another student and still shows off her cultural fashion and such in a way that fits with the Bratzillaz M-O :D I figured it was intended to be a Sari but I’d hate to be that white girl who ignorantly points to a cultural object and completely misses the intention or what it’s meant to be (like how people call Qipaos Kimonos and such) so I try to avoid doing it unless I know for sure- thank you so much for letting me know fully :) I really hope you can get her while she’s so cheap and easy to get from Aliexpress! She’s such a fantastic doll 🥺

i remember having cloetta spelletta as a kid, that's a doll I remember having, I don't know what happened to her, but I did buy all the bratzillaz you could buy about 3 days ago, and I'm so excited for them to come in the mail.
I have always collected dolls but during this time I wanted to feel "mature" so I collected porcelain dolls. I was probably the only 13-16 year old collecting porcelain dolls💀🤣 I donated most of that collection because I just couldn't enjoy them like I could playline. And honestly I didn't make the switch till i started watching you on TH-cam and it really hit me how unhappy I was with my porcelain collection🤣 so thank you!
I only found out that Bratzillaz ever existed like a couple months ago (I’ve only been collecting dolls for about 6 months) and I love them so much! I don’t have any yet but I’m soooo in love with Jade J’adore! I definitely want at least a handful of these dolls!
I also got bratzillaz from AliExpress with the hats with no rubber band I used a tread the same color as the hair and put it through the hat and attached it to the hair !!
I regret NoviStars too. I didn't collect Bratzillas because the theme just didn't catch my attention. I guess they weren't quite strange enough for me. You're the first person I've heard on TH-cam to mention the Catwalk Kitties. I regret giving away the one of those that I had shipped from Europe, too. They were so hard to find here, and it's really hard to even find information anymore.

I still have 3 of my Bratzillaz. I wasn't wowed by the quality, bad hair and floppy bodies, but I thought they were prettier than normal Bratz. The pink haired Jade from the dance line was my favorite. Her hair was so thin and soft and short that I could fit Bratz/Liv/Moxie Teenz wigs on her and switch up her look.
What a cool hauI!!! I kicked myself for not getting that Jade, maybe some day. I actually preferred bratzillaz to bratz because of the inset eyes and the fact that they had feet lol. I have the black/white switch a witch and I believe the yellow/white. As far as doll dolls I have Vampelina and Fianna. I hope you will get her soon💕One time I forgot she glowed and it freaked me out haha I am really glad that bratz made a comeback so I can add those☺

I love the look of Bratzillaz. I do not love my Meygana Broomstix's hair at all. Frizzy dry polypropylene. I got Meygana second hand...I never added them to my collection brand new at the time for the same reason I didn't add many MH, EAH, Liv etc. Barbie was in one of her PINK AS HECK phases, which honestly was not thrilling to me, and then My Scene (which was my doll passion at the time) was gone off of shelves. I just sort of decided to hiatus from doll collecting for a while out of disappointment with Barbie and sadness about My Scene and...just not wanting to face the doll aisles at the time. I also hadn't accepted the idea of getting dolls second hand yet - I was in a phase of only wanting them new so I had all the pieces - so when I couldn't get My Scene, I just...tuned out. It wasn't until Barbie released the different body sizes in 2015 that I actually tuned back into the fashion doll world and even then I was only partially tuned in.
bratzillaz are gorgeous and vampelina is actually a doll i’ve been wanting forever now / holy grail but i don’t quite understand why she has become so “ rare “ and listings are always unreasonable at least to me. what would you say is a reasonable price you’d pay for vampelina?
I’m the type of collector who won’t pay more for certain characters even if they’re considered rare… but as a holy grail it’s different. I’m not super familiar with Bratzillaz second hand pricing unfortunately. For me, $60 complete would be worth
Novi Stars in my opinion are the best dolls that MGA has ever made, second after them are Bratzilaz for me. Unpopular opinion I know :D Not that I hate everything else they have made but those two lines to me are perfect and super special. I have collections of both :) Both collection gathered in the last 5 years. I was not collecting actively at the time. I don't call the copies of MH but response to them.
